Account name on the ledger instead of the account code
We have queries on the I&E statements and when going back to either the PM or owner it will be easier if they can see the account name instead of the account code on the ledger. There is no report to show you what has been used under a specific account code other that the ledger.

Notice to Leave for ending Fixed Term Tenancy after 1 October 2022
With the changes to the Legislation coming into effect on 1 October 2022 with regards to Notice to Leaves without grounds, is there any way to enter a Notice to Leave for a Fixed Term Tenancy without having to put it in the Vacate section – basically, if we enter a NTL for every Tenant for the end of their tenancy, every tenant in the database will be classified as “Vacating” – is there someway around this?
13 votesAfter discussions with a number of clients, feedback has been that the Termination date on the tenancy could be used to record this date, as this does not trigger the normal vacate activity. Storage limits for documents
Can the storage limit please be increased as it is not large enough to save an entry report in the renters document section or any document section for that matter. We are resulting to saving them on Google Drive..

Rent review dates automatically updates when entering a new amount in rent schedule
Automatically update rent review dates in software when you enter a new amount in the rent schedule. Updated dates should be 10 weeks prior to increase commencement date in the following year.

Amend account code
Having just come over from REST, I am very surprised that the ability to amend an account code (once transaction has been processed in the system) is not available in Property Tree. We have had some account errors occur with migration so the fact that I cannot correct these as I could have in REST is far from ideal. This leaves no room for human error whatsover. Please look into this. Thank You!

Vacant Tenancies Report, option to show archived tenant vacancies
Include archived tenant vacancies in vacancy report to see historic data when required.
IE. You want to know how many vacancies had in a block of 100 apartments within a 3 month period. - Currently cannot see this as report only shows active tenancies with a vacate date.

Update to options for Statistics Report
Would be wonderful if we could produce a Statistics Report selected by Tag.
This would allow us more flexibility in Reporting monthly data.

Short Term Holiday Rentals
Do we have a time frame yet when Property Tree is going to be more user friendly with holiday management? ie ability to only enter tenants as prospects?

Improve Holiday Rental Owner Statements
Remove the future bookings from the owner statements and only list the bookings that are being paid. Some properties have a large number of future bookings and it's very distracting for the owner when looking at their statement. They are only interested in what they have been paid and what expenses they have incurred

Maintenance Job Search option for open jobs only
Have a section to search only open work orders and quotes.
When currently putting in dates, it caps off at 2000 because it shows all completed jobs.

Creditor current bsb and account to show when loading invoice
Creditor current banking details to show when loading invoices.
It is too easy for a creditor to change bank accounts and not advise in writing separately.
Just changing their details on an invoice seems to be the new norm.
We need to see the banking bsb and account details to check when loading invoices.

Bank Reconciliation Reminder
To reduce any Bank Rec issues because it hasn’t been done for a while, it might be good to get pop-up reminders, alerting Agents to take action.
For PT users who are not required to do Bank Recs at all, it would be good to have a turn on/off option for such reminders (controlled by MRI on the Admin Portal, not accessible for users). Maybe get users to sign/agree on that.9 votes -
Owner invoices sent to owner even though not paid in PT
Can PT include documents marked as Owner Invoice when not being paid. For example we receive copies of water/council/strata when they are direct debited from the owner, but not included with the owner statements. Then when the owner is doing their tax the accountants want copies of the invoices. We then have to download and save them, then email them.
The other option is to be able to select the invoices we want to send and be able to email them direct to the owner like we can do from File Smart
