The ability to attach documents or relevant emails to notes created in Property Tree
Would be great to be able to attach a document EG an email, report or picture about an incident/arrears etc to a note created in the PT system that may be an on-going issue/have an ongoing story where chronological information contained in the 1 place is important

Dragging the attachments from the new outlook update as of Oct 24 ?
Before the Outlook update recently done as of Oct 24, it seems that attachments we would normally drag from Outlook into PT does not work anymore. Can you please advise if this is something you're working on?
3 votesWe've looked into this issue and Microsoft has replied: We regret to inform you that the drag-and-drop functionality for emails is currently not supported in the new Outlook for Windows due to design limitations.
This is an issue outside of Property Tree. We will continue to monitor the new outlook features as they are updated.

Task attachment in Documents to show Task Summary text or Task Category text not "Category: Property Task"
An attachment dragged and dropped into a task (for example – an email, a PDF invoice, a document etc) is saving to the Documents Tab Notes column section in the following format ‘'Category: Property Task’. This is not descriptive at all and doesn’t shed any light on what is attached. Is there a way for them to save using the Task Summary wording or Task Category wording instead?

Document Upload - Time & User Stamp
Functionality that documents that are uploaded have time and user stamp of the upload.

Be able to edit tenancy invoices without they system cancelling original and creating a new one
It is annoying that when you edit a tenancy invoice for whatever reason that the system cancels the original and creates a new invoice. You should just be able to edit it and I don't understand why you can't.

The ability to bulk-print invoices for water etc.
Currently water invoices are only printable by manually printing each one - being able to print all invoices entered in a day for postage would make this job much quicker.

Increase the uploadable file size to the documents tab
Increase the uploadable file size to the documents tab for larger condition reports or property contracts to be uploaded without needing to compress or split the document

mail merge templates need to be more user friendly
Mail merge templates for emails need to be more user friendly. Currently if you want to add an image you need to copy from an image on the internet - you should be able to copy an image off your computer. You also cannot add things like editable tables to the mail merge. To be able to provide comprehensive data to landlords adding a table would be ideal. The mail merge templates should function more like a normal word document merge.

Being able to attach bond receipts in the bond section
It would be great if we could attach the bond receipt to the bond section of the tenancy card. Currently we have to manually complete the reference number and then save the receipt in documents. Much easier in the one place.

Bond & Deposits - be able to add PDF to Bond held
Be able to add a PDF of the bond Document from Rental Bonds Online to the Bond & Deposits section of a tenancy. Further, when adding to this, it should also add as a copy to the Documents section. This would be a much more thorough way to ensure we hold the right documents.

would be possible put the number first when the system generate auto receipt
when we do the tenant Download, the system generates receipt and email to the tenant, the file name start with ""Receipt6462"" would be possible change the digits to the front of the file name like ""6465Receipt""

Breach and Terminations notices showing on Rental Ledgers
Breach and Terminations notices would be useful to be shown on Rental Ledgers.
Tribunal reports are not shared with PMs on references, Rental ledgers need to be the main source of arrears and breach notices information.
This would give clear insight to Property Managers when looking at an applicants history, and on a business internal view, a snapshot of the tenants history of breaches and termination notices.

Documents Names being less restrictive
When adding documents to emails and documents tab under the the system has a very high level of requirements for file names. Only letters or numbers are accepted. Your not allowed any other characters such as commas, dash or any type of other punctuation. Surely this can be less strict considering most file names have full addresses and other items in file names.

Category for casual letting
Please can you have a category that you can enter casual lettings, it needs to be separate from lost and gained properties as we archive and unarchive these properties. It affects our lost and gained properties if they have to go to residential rentals.

Additional tab in ownership profile or ability to flag important documents/notes so they always appear at the top of the list
i would like to enquire on how we can add an extra tab in the Ownership profile, purely for proof of ownership, managing authorities, photo id, landlord instructions. As we constantly need to track through 5 - 10 pages in the documents tab just to look for these?
in all - im requesting an additional tab next to communication or documents .. (under ownership tab) as these 4 we need the most when relisting a property.6 votes -

filter auto arrears notices by $'s
Is it possible to filter auto arrears notices by $'s ie: if a tenant say short pays by $0.30, after 7 & 14 days they will receive an auto arrears notice to pay. We would like an option to filter notices over a certain amount?

In the Owner – Statements tab, when you click on it, all the statements should appear, not just the latest one
There’s only one reason why we would click on that tab, so we shouldn’t have to click on the magnifying glass again to see more statements.
