Change the Automatic Log-out time from 59minutes to 9 or 10 hours please.
I'm all for the new multiple security measures you've put in place, but I'm NOT down with being automatically logged out after 59 minutes of being inactive. I hop in & out of Property Tree at various times throughout the day, and often I'm out for more than an hour at a time. I want to ONLY have to log in to Property Tree ONCE in the morning, and then not have to keep re-logging in. It's annoying and frustrating ! It should keep you logged in until say 6pm at night for example.
161 votesHI Supporters, we have identified an issue where some users may experience a time-out prior to the 60mins and this is currently being addressed. In regards to having the ability to extend the time-out period, our team are activating investigating a solution and will update you once this has been approved.

Property Tree Authentication Rules should be up to Agency
Level of authentication when updating different things in PT, should be configured by agency rather than a one rule for all accounts.
Currently PM's have to authenticate when adding a new Owner to PT, some agencies do not want this & would like to have option to switch it on, or off22 votes -

Configuration icon position
When on a laptop or small screen - can't access or click on the icon for configuration. No scroll function to bring it onto screen.

Username to be recorded with actions
Property Tree could incorporate a user action logging system where every action taken by a user, such as inputting an invoice or canceling an invoice, is recorded with their username.

Duplicate Invoice to show date last inputted
When a duplicate invoice is detected it should include the date it was last put into the system and/or paid, as service charges and levies are commonly the same amount, in intervals throughout the year. This stops us having to check it isn't currently in the system for payment.

Activity Log on Property / User Report
Would be handy to have an activity log not only just for user activity to monitor work efficiency, but also on a property page to see all maintenance / inspections / communication at a quick glance rather than digging through different tabs.

Date Driven Fees
Can you please add DATE Driven Fees to Property Tree, so a specific date/frequency can be selected instead of an Event.
• Mainly for Owner and Property Fees (mostly Flat Fees)
• Examples: Admin/Statement (monthly), Lease Renewal (charging on a specific date when then new lease kicks in, not when the lease date gets updated, which is often weeks/months prior the new lease)
• Difference it will make: more flexibility (less manual bulk charges, not all events are suitable in PT, can create Mid-Month statement without fee, charge monthly fee in current not next month/period)11 votes -

Default Tenancy Expense Account Group & Code
Can you please add a default Tenancy Expense Account Group & Code to the Configuration > Accounts (like other Account Groups/Codes are setup), so Users don’t have to create it, however can customize if necessary.
Unless the Tenancy Expense Account is used or displayed on any reports, the name for the Account Group & Code can be very generic.11 votes -
Back end activity log - invoices processed
When a invoice is processed, you cannot see which user has completed this or see a log.
We have had a couple of instances where we needed to address certain situations around task management and accountability and due to know log, it has made it difficult.

Key number when searching for a property
When searching for a property rather than the property ID number appearing next to the address can this be changed to show the property key number? I rarely need the property ID but need key numbers multiple times a day, this change would save having to click into the property to get the key number. Thanks

when logging in to PT on mobile and you get your one time code and click 'add from messages' the entire number is populated into the first box - it would be good if this was changed to populate into the boxes correctly.

Ad hoc letter needs option for the Property Manager to be the sender so they receive letters from their agent not junior staff
We are finding if needing to send a message through to owners with attachments or a body of text that can be edited (eg. rent review/lease renewal suggestion ad hoc message) which is specific to their property the email message includes our admin as the sender. I think it is really important to have something like this coming from the person managing their property rather than the staff with less experience displayed as the person sending the message, it would also create less confusion so when they reply it comes straight back to the property manager
