Increase the Automatic Log-out time from 59minutes please.
I'm all for the new multiple security measures you've put in place, but I'm NOT down with being automatically logged out after 59 minutes of being inactive. I hop in & out of Property Tree at various times throughout the day, and often I'm out for more than an hour at a time. I want to ONLY have to log in to Property Tree ONCE in the morning, and then not have to keep re-logging in. It's annoying and frustrating ! It should keep you logged in until say 6pm at night for example.

New Column on Tenancy Ledger to show Number of Days and Amount of Arrears
Rather than having to go through a tenant's ledger with them, it would be handy for tenants to have the number of days and amount of arrears displayed on the tenancy ledger, also perfect for property managers processing tenancy applications with ledgers from other agents using Property Tree. No need to go through every transaction in the ledgers if these are displayed, makes life easier.
160 votesHi Supporters, thanks so much for all your responses! We are getting close to having this ready for our development team. I'm hoping for a little bit more feedback if you have any on the following -
1. An option when you generate the ledger for "Showing Transactions Only" (so cutting out the other items such as when invoices are entered). However, this would show credits as well. Although credits are not transactions these affect amounts due by the tenant. This would keep all of the current tenancy ledger columns.
2. Also an option to Show Rent Arrears Details (so a running total for arrears and the days in arrears). When this option is selected and generated we would replace other ledger columns to then display the additional rent arrears details. Inserting more columns into the current tenancy ledger has been a challenge with the amount of information currently there.…

On the tenant card, it would be great if there was a pet icon if pets were approved as a quick reference

Pinned Note for Inspections & Maintenance Quotes/Jobs for safety issues ie dangerous dog
Be able to enter a permanent note on inspection reports ie Dangerous Dog @ Property. Also some form of automation for maintence so trades are aware. Especially helpful if staff do not usually attend the property. Even if it was a pinned note but instead of selecting the current options of PPty Note, Ppty receipt or Creditor/Tenancy it could be an inspection or maintenance pinned note.

Automated Email or Text to Renters once trade has been assigned to a job
When sending a work order to a trade an automated email is generated to the renters advising them their request has been assigned and list the trade who will be in contact with them.

Status updates on Work Orders
Work orders should have "Status Updates" on work orders. Such as Quote Requested, Waiting on Approval, Work Order sent, Completed, Rejected, Hold, Owner Attending.
This will make it easier when following up on work orders where the job is currently at.44 votes -
Change of ownership - Transfer documents and maintenance
when change of ownership is carried out, property documents and maintenance jobs need to transfer with it, the owner may change but the property issues and documents remain with the property always.

Have commercial invoices attached as PDF, not a link
With automated invoice processing becoming more common, we have an increasing amount of commercial tenants requesting invoices be attached to an email as a PDF as well as a link in the email itself?

Remove Authentication required for adding ownership & creditor profiles
The SSO update is intended to improve security and ease access; but, every time we add ownership or a creditor, we must input an OTP. Assume we add 10 ownerships/creditors per day, means we must also generate 10 OTPs.
Code takes too long to arrive at times and is quite time consuming. Instead of always entering OTP, I believe we should have the choice to verify once and trust a device without constantly inputting OTP.

Send log for maintenance
Please create a log with dates, times and recipients for maintenance jobs.
At the moment the only info that is provided is the date the job was created. Nothing to show if/when it was sent and if you resend the job as a reminder and confirmation it was received. We also do not get notified if the email fails to send to the intended recipient.

merge fields for compliance
We would love to see merge fields for the compliance dates so that they can be easily inserted into lease agreements and disclosure statements - in particular, the last serviced date

Have a Tenant/Owner's "Preferred" Name show in the Contacts View.
Have a Tenant/Owner's "Preferred" Name show in the Contacts View. At the moment you can only view a tenant's preferred name if you open up the Contact to amend it. It would make a huge difference when making phone calls to have the preferred name show on the main Ownership/Tenancy screen.

Work Order Auto Reminder to Trade
Trades to receive automatic reminders following up outstanding work orders in the system. It would be great if this was setup and sent to the trade first thing in the morning on a weekly basis until work has been completed and job has been closed off.

Dedicated Key Register (sign in/sign out)
it would be really helpful to have a key register where we could assign key in/out and assign trades/ownerships/tenants etc. and also the individual with the keys (i.e. jack) and contact information for the individual responsible for the key. Also to be able to print a report of the keys each day to see which keys are still out with trades. an important part of this would be to have the ability to have the keys "not to be returned" or similar if an owner is taking possession or management ending etc.

Checklists to attach to profiles
Checklists - it would be great to have checklists available to attach to either an owner, property or tenant for new managements, lost managements, new tenancies, break leases, lease renewals, vacating tenants etc. If we could customise them to suit the business and they attach to the corresponding event. Setup same as merge mail templates so it is easy to adopt your own procedures.
