Auto email to renter for work order
When a work work order is sent, it would be nice if the system automatically emailed the renter something like, 'TradeName' has been sent a 'work order / Quote request' for 'Subject line of maintenance'. Please expect contact shortly.

General Inspection Notes Rollover
The general notes in routine inspection, would be great if they rolled over to the next inspection when created. ie so can see owner likes to attend. It can appear in the inspection summary as well. Very helpful when a junior does an inspection

Improvement Suggestion: Streamline Routine Inspection Scheduling
Is anyone actually using Property Tree for scheduling routine inspections? I am trying and finding the current system is clunky, clumsy, and lacks essential features.
Key Pain Points:
Missed Properties: No way to track if a property has been missed for scheduling
Holiday Scheduling: No block-out periods for holidays, inspectors' leave, or public holidays.
Route Planning: No effective route planner within the scheduler, making it difficult to schedule and navigate multiple properties.
Current route planner only allows for 7 properties, which is insufficient for our needs (up to 15 inspections per day).

Easily reassign a work order
When we assign a trade and send a work order to a trade, it would be handy to have the option to unassign and re-assign a new trade to the same without having to delete and re-create the job.
So often we have the tradie ring and say they're to able to attend, so it would be good to just remove them and send to someone else, rather than cancelling and re-sending.11 votes -
Maintenance Snooze Date
It would be great if maintenance could have a due date on it so that it is only shown in the maintenance list if it is due, similar to a task? With the option to filter to see all maintenance as well. But at the moment when I look at my maintenance list I'm overwhelmed by what needs to be action, but often I'm waiting for quotes/approval and sometimes I don't need to action it for 2-3 weeks, so it would be great for it to be removed from the list until it is due to be actioned, so that…

Pinned Note for Inspections & Maintenance Quotes/Jobs for safety issues ie dangerous dog
Be able to enter a permanent note on inspection reports ie Dangerous Dog @ Property. Also some form of automation for maintence so trades are aware. Especially helpful if staff do not usually attend the property. Even if it was a pinned note but instead of selecting the current options of PPty Note, Ppty receipt or Creditor/Tenancy it could be an inspection or maintenance pinned note.

When entering an invoice on the creditor screen sometimes they're not already loaded.. it would be really handy to have the ability to "add creditor" from this page

Automated inspections being scheduled on public holidays
Starting to get extremely frustrated with the 'automated scheduling' of inspections, why does it not allow you to block out periods and they keep getting scheduled on public holidays, this defeats the purpose of 'automated scheduling' as you need to monitor the inspection dates all year, so it's actually creating more work for PM's just like so many other features on Property Tree.

Tenant Contact information Maintenance
When a work order is created the work order only attaches 1 tenants contact details, the work order should show multiple tenant contact details for trades people so they are not chasing us up for further contact details when the 1 named tenant doesnt respond to their calls.

Automatic Cancellation Email for Routine Inspections
I would like to request your assistance in developing a system to automatically send cancellation emails for routine inspections. Currently, there is no automated process in place, and this would greatly improve communication with tenants.

Pet Inspections .
New pet laws NSW - having the option to carry out a pet inspection 3 months after the pet is approved and being able to track this would be very beneficial.
We all delay routine inspections but we would not delay a pet inspection and having this labeled and trackable would help5 votes -
Status updates on Work Orders
Work orders should have "Status Updates" on work orders. Such as Quote Requested, Waiting on Approval, Work Order sent, Completed, Rejected, Hold, Owner Attending.

Edit work order PDF details
We would like the ability to edit the downloadable PDF work order link that is sent to the trades. Currently we can only edit the email communication sent to the trade and not the work order. We would like to include invoice instructions that come up on the PDF not just the original email as trades tend to print the work order and never look at the original email again.

Automated maintenance reminder to LL
Suggesting an automated email and/or sms function that goes out to any owner that doesn't reply to a maintenance request after we hit "request approval".
eg. automated after 3 days for non-urgent maintennace if no response received (Hi Mr/Mrs x, we are following up on the repair request we sent through that you may have missed, please reply with your instructions etc etc)

Auto assign the inspecting agent linked to a property for brand new inspections populated for new tenants
When a new tenant is entered it automatically generates the first inspection date but doesnt automaticaly assign the inspecting agent to this inspection. We would like it to be automatically assigned when this date is populated as it often gets missed unless we do the report for the unassigned inspections.

Routine Scheduling based on Property not Tenancy
Have a way to set routine inspections by PROPERTY not TENANT - it just links the current tenancy automatically. This way we can set up auto-reschedule for every 26 weeks and not have to edit the routine dates when a new tenant is locked in.
