  1. Before the Outlook update recently done as of Oct 24, it seems that attachments we would normally drag from Outlook into PT does not work anymore. Can you please advise if this is something you're working on?

    We've looked into this issue and Microsoft has replied: We regret to inform you that the drag-and-drop functionality for emails is currently not supported in the new Outlook for Windows due to design limitations.


    This is an issue outside of Property Tree. We will continue to monitor the new outlook features as they are updated.

  2. To reply to emails within the communications tab without having to go into the communications page and searching for previous emails. Currently can only print emails from the tenant/owner profile and not reply to any emails.

  4. We are always trying to improve the % of Receipts that process automatically (within defined parameters). Currently we use the Tenant Download report for manual receipts to identify these Renters/Payments and send an email to advise of the problem with their receipts. This email advises them of their Rent amount, Rent period and Rent ReferenceID and includes instructions to assist with where to put the reference. It would be amazing if we could somehow automatically send (where appropriate), these emails (and/or SMS) to these Renters.   5. Have a way to set routine inspections by PROPERTY not TENANT - it just links the current tenancy automatically. This way we can set up auto-reschedule for every 26 weeks and not have to edit the routine dates when a new tenant is locked in.

There needs to be more support for tenants and owners within the portal so that if they are archived for one property, they can gain access for the other property still and/or if they are with one agency that uses PT then transfers to another agency also using PT they can still access the portal with the new agency. I have had a lot of trouble trying to help owners and tenants when we recently transferred 100+ properties from one agency to another agency - it was very fortunate that I had full access to both agencies so I could…

  7. There should be a setting to make it that all new tenants / owners are automatically sent a portal invitation when they are set up rather than manually having to do it.

  8. It’s currently not possible to sync a report from MRI Inspect to PT on the same day.

    However, it’s common practice to conduct an inspection and complete the report on the same day.

    Please enhance the feature providing users the ability to complete their jobs as efficiently as possible.

  9. It would be great if there was an option to record both the first and the last day for a commercial/retail tenant to exercise their option to renew their Lease. This would allow us to identify tenancies with upcoming option periods and enable us to proactively engage with tenants before the options lapse. I understand there currently is an a option date available under Lease, Rent &Outgoings Tab, however no one can really explain which date to enter (different answers - Lease expiry date, first date to exercise option and last date to exercise option).

  10. Currently you can only send automated comms from a User, Point of Contact or Company. However when you have 2x people working on one property, various comms should be sent from either user.
    There should be an ability in PT to send from business role in the agency.

  12. An attachment dragged and dropped into a task (for example – an email, a PDF invoice, a document etc) is saving to the Documents Tab Notes column section in the following format ‘'Category: Property Task’. This is not descriptive at all and doesn’t shed any light on what is attached. Is there a way for them to save using the Task Summary wording or Task Category wording instead?

  13. Is it possible to have a widget on the agency panel for un lodged bonds? For example when a bond is receipted, it will appear with the address of the property and how many days it was receipted. Once the bond is lodged with the bond admin, the property disappears. This would be very useful to licensees.

  15. When you have a property and owner that have not had any transactions it would be helpful to archive them instead of having to delete them. Ie Sometimes we will sign up a new management and for whatever reason it doesn't go ahead in the end. We then can't account for that as a lost property in proper reporting and retain the data in PT, there is only the option to delete the profile.

We think a HIGH PRIORITY tab would be good where we could store notes that need to be easily accessible i.e. New Appliance installations with warranty dates, Insurance Claims in progress; Emergency Details; things that you don't want to have to go looking for through pages of Notes but need quick access to.

  17. Owners details (NAME) are not appearing on work orders via link.
    Tax invoices should be addressed to the owner care of the estate agents address.
    There is no mention of the owners detail at all on the work order link.
    We have it set up so they get the owners details in the original email. However when work orders are going through to the contractors accounts department they are not receiving the owners details. We would like a field included on the work order to include owners details so invoices are received correctly.
