With regards to the new legislation taking effect from 01/05/2025, to ensure compliance is met, tenant's personal information (name, contact details, ID, inspection reports) are to be destroyed before 7 years. Given PT currently only archives tenants, will the option be made available to delete/destroy tenant information before 7 years & is there be an easy way for saved documents containing personal information to be easily destroyed/deleted before 7 years to ensure compliancy is met.

  2. it would be really helpful to have a key register where we could assign key in/out and assign trades/ownerships/tenants etc. and also the individual with the keys (i.e. jack) and contact information for the individual responsible for the key. Also to be able to print a report of the keys each day to see which keys are still out with trades. an important part of this would be to have the ability to have the keys "not to be returned" or similar if an owner is taking possession or management ending etc.

  3. We would love to see merge fields for the compliance dates so that they can be easily inserted into lease agreements and disclosure statements - in particular, the last serviced date

  7. I recommend an audit tab under each profile ( tenancy, property and owner) which will show a log of date, time and user of making any adjust under the profile.
    for example, staff member 1 changed the rent schedule on 5/2/2025 at 11.55am. A log will show:
    User: SM1 Change: rent schedule from $300weekly to $320weekly Date/Time: 5/2/2025 11.55am

  8. As part of the new legislation we need to be able to retrieve strata By Laws to provide this to the tenant. We should be able to save the document against the strata details under the property.

  10. Issue 1 - (Compliance – Current) - This does not accurately reflect if a property is compliant or not.

    Non-Compliant properties that have current compliance dates (This marks Compliance as Current in PT), however the actual reports are Non-Compliant due to Electrical/Gas/Smoke Alarm issues to be rectified.

    • For the property to show as Non-Compliant in PT – I must add in the Notes section: NON-COMPLIANT to help identify the Non-Compliant properties.

    • Could a Non-Compliant Tick Box be added to the Compliance Register and the Property Section to assist with clearly identifying the Non-Compliant Properties or Category even when…

  12. Ability to add the status of the owner's compliance on their ownership statement, so they are aware if their landlord insurance, smoke alarms compliance is up to date for each property.

  17. to have a search engine where you can search for expired compliance for properties on their own in case any have been missed when entering, and those that have no details for compliance at all.

    Have an additional action to Create Bulk work orders, that include all relevant information from the notes
    So i can send multiple work orders for one trade in one easy action
    Possibly even a tick box on each property in the report to exclude properties

  19. The old smoke alarm display had better information at a glance. It showed the date the smoke alarm was last serviced and the type of smoke alarm.
    Could that please be included in the Register so it can be seen at a glance and not having to go via the pencil.

  20. When trying to work out properties where no compliance option has been selected, Property Tree does not have a report to aid with this. Could an option be added to the existing Compliance Register to allow for this. Ie. in the Managed By dropdown add an option for 'no compliance option selected.' Then clients could filter by this option.
