  1. We currently spend a lot of time manually processing contractor induction requests - contractor members will email us to request an induction, we clarify and then enter their info, and send them the relevant induction.

    A time-saving measure would be to add a form to our company website where contractor members can add and submit their own information, this links to and adds their info to On Location, and their induction is automatically sent.

    I realise that there are some intricacies to this around data management e.g. any new contractor organisation not already in On Location will still require manual…

  2. My site has 63 Locations that must be billed for their SMS usage.
    The Notification Exported report does not include the Location column, so can not be used to filter the usage by Location.
    Just to note, the Notification by Location selection on screen does not work at all so I don't have that option.

  3. Would be nice to have an additional interface to verify people rapidly during an evac. Like one of the in/out kiosk but with a quick "verify" when you scan a card (We use rfid reader and all our mill employee have their card on them)

  4. Need to be able to manually mark off when someone is safe during an evacuation, to compensate for occasions when someone may not have their phone, may not be able to reply to the SMS request to verify they are safe e.g. no credit on phone.
    Note: In industrial environments it's common for staff to not be permitted to have their phones with them at their workstations.

  6. Make employee questions by Department so that different selections (such as host, zone, working along) can be made by department.

    For example, employees from Department A are required to select Host, work Zone/Area, and whether they are working alone; whereas employees from Department B are only required to select Zone/Area and whether they are working alone.

  7. We have keys and passes that we sign out and in to contractors. We need an audit trail against a sign in to show assets going out and coming back. Would be great if you could have a tab that links to assets and lets a user assign out and check back in an asset or assets.

  8. Create a new trigger rule that can detect if a contractor organization has no contract on file.

    Current triggers only work if an organization has a contract - we need to deny access if there is no contract or if all contracts are expired/not valid/not active/etc.

    It might also make sense to add contract "types", so that be used by a trigger as well. For example, if no "Contract Type A" exists or is expired, deny entry and send an email.

  9. API insurance update required - Policy Type and Polcies Registered

    Hi Team

    As we have more customers doing more integrations, we require more access to data through the API

    OnLocation API does not support reading the Contractor Insurance settings, which is a significant issue.

    Can we please ask for the inclusion of the following through the API
    Insurance Policy Types, including audience and Insurance Policies Registered

  10. Our business, and many others, operate 24 hours a day with Contractors who are signed in at various hours.

    It would be great if the automated sign out function could exclude individual contractor names (or all names under that Contractor business) from being signed out at the defined time.

    For example, cleaners often work at night, which is when the automated sign out process runs. If we turn off the automation to accommodate this, if a contractor forgets to sign out, they will be forever in the system and this could become problematic over time - especially if there is…

  13. We use the value field within the Contracts for an organization. This field is not available within the report. This is the only field that is not available. It would be great if this could be added. Our finance team would find this very beneficial.

  15. Option to have free text textbox for Employee/Contractors to answer an induction question as currently we only have an option to select a single/multiple/image options. This is basic requirement for any eLearning/Courses where the question type would be choice based ( single/multiple/image) selection or a free text for users to provide their comments. Kindly review and let me know when you think this can be added. We wanted to use OnLocation system as our core LMS system without having to license any other 3rd party systems.

    Thank you Vini for the feedback. If we add a 'free text' option then the ability to 'pass' someone on that specific question would be based on them entering something; in fact anything at all (even n/a). As we could assess a statement entered by the inductee being true or false is there are specific example you could share with me directly of a question.

  16. When using the OnEvac app, I have found that the People Verified Safe graph is calculating all people in the selected zone, even when the Event is selected for Employees On Site Only.

    As we have shift workers, we will always select Employees On Site Only, so this calculation will always calculate incorrectly. Surely this calculation should not be including people who are not currently on site? That's not logical.

  17. We have a trigger to not allow employees to sign in if the induction training is incomplete. But the trigger does not pop up until the employee goes through the whole sign in process and answers about 10 questions. It would save a lot of time if the trigger popped up on the screen right after the employee searched for their name. This would also be helpful for contractors as well.

  18. When you currently edit members in a specific organization and go back to the organization, it jumps back to members. It would be nice for the system to stay in the organization you selected to save time instead of having to go back to the organization tab, scroll back to the organization, go back to the members, then find the next member.

  19. Amend the Evacuation text to mention the created zone because some staff members consistently move around the site such as the yard team and maintenance team, meaning they could be in any zone. Therefore, when I create an event, I always include these individuals. It would be beneficial for them to know the specific zone we are evacuating. If they are not in that zone at that moment, they do not need to evacuate.
