  1. It would be valuable to be able to print badges at Interzones so security can identify visitors who have not checked into an Interzone after the initial guardhouse sign in.

  2. We have visitors that reply to either the OnPass or the pre-registration questionnaire, however both go to msg@whosonlocation which appears to either go nowhere or is unmanaged. It would be ideal to have the reply come to a specific email address within the company instead.

    On the actual OnPass, there is no statement that says NOT to reply - such a statement IS shown as being on the OnPass in your Help section. There is a "do not reply" statement on the questionnaire.

  3. Suggestion from customer account:

    It would be beneficial to view the cumulative number of visitors on a given day across all sites within the People Presence report. The infographic shows a good view of the cumulative number of visitors at a single site on a given day, however, the report view only gives a very detailed look. It is a highly manual process in Excel to show the cumulative number of visitors on a given day/month across multiple locations.

  4. "match.expectedsignin" is not currently available in our placeholder list. This will be useful to create a trigger when a new pre-registration is done,
    The trigger sent a mail notification to admin staff so they are well aware, and they can arrange a for necessary arrangement for incoming visitors in advance

It would be great if when people try to sign in as an employee or a contractor that if the name entered doesn't exactly match anyone in the system that is shows similar names as selectable suggestions. I find for example people like "Michael Black" might be entered in the system as "Mike Black" and then they are not able to sign in even though they are set up.

  6. It would be useful to be able to filter Zones on the Dashboards, so a screen can be placed near a sign-in point and only show staff/contractors signed into that Zone, not a whole site.

  7. Can you make is possible to batchprint pre-registered visitors badge passes? Add it like a feature to activate so its not on as default. We have a customer that print up to 100 passes at the time and they dont like to manually click out every pass.

  8. Sign in/out method notification. To be able to alert the host what method the visitor used to sign in/out. As we have a high volume of visitors for security reasons to know who has to be signed out manually.

    Hi Ayesha,

    Thanks for your input. We will open this up to the community for votes. In the meantime, I would like to share a suggestion. If you enable the 'Zone Selection' basic question for visitors and tick 'host notification' then the visitor arrival notification should include the name of the access point the visitor signed in through. If your kiosks each use a different access point you will know exactly which one they used. Hope that helps.

    Could you confirm if your employees are signing in using OnLocation Mobile to select their workspaces?

    Kiosks can be linked to specific zones, which would limit the workspaces available when signing in.

  10. We have staff who act in roles at different locations who have an "end" date. It would be useful to be able to enter a date when the employee needs to move to a new location or return to their substantive location.

    In the meantime, as a workaround you can setup these employees as Contractors and use temporary location access in the organisation page on their profile.

  11. Pre-invitation emails language

    It would be nice to send pre-invitation emails in a different language without changing the default language setting.

    Make a dropdown menu to choose the language you wish to send the pre-invitation email.

  12. Communication radios use a function called Man Down, if a radio gets in an horizontal position, it sends an automated SOS message to a Monitoring Center, indication a possible accident of the person using the radio. That's because, maybe the person is so injured that cannot send the message by its own.

    Could be a way to configure a mobile App function to get an alarm trigger same as this radio function?

  13. You should consider making OnSentry full online. We've been receiving many complaints from the customer, when using two or more CipherLab unis in the same location, due to its offline development; for example, if a contractor sign-in through an Access Point and, in a short time he/she try to sign-out through the other AP, the OnSentry set or placed in that area registers another sign-in for the same contractor, then, the security guy try to update database manually, but, is the Db is too heavy, the unit takes a long time to get Db updated.

    We are currently in the process of making improvements to OnLocation mobile to allow it to perform same tasks as OnSentry. These developments will take effect in the course of next 12 months.

Whenever an employee has been to a Location (school), they would be required to register their e-mail address in their WOL system, but it won't allow the same e-mail to be registered in another Location. This scenario happens between schools because many teachers work in more than one school using the same Department of Education e-mail address.

    In my point of view, the duplication should be restricted by Location and not the whole system. The kiosk has a Location on its data, that should be enough to find which Location the sign-in is really happening.

    Thank you for your submission. We implemented single use email rules from day one in 2012 as part of best practise security however; we recognise today that in some use cases like yours this creates limitations.


    We do have a solution with the recent release of the Custom Communities feature whereby each school can setup a Custom Community e.g 'Roaming Teachers' (distinct from say standard Employees who only work at that school). You then add those roaming teachers (that also work for other schools) to this new community as members. Next you add that 'Roaming Teachers' community to the sign-in kiosk options. When a teacher goes to sign in to your school using a Kiosk, QR Code or are signed in by an operator, they can select from 'Visitor', 'Contractor', 'Employee', or 'Roaming Teacher'. When selecting 'Roaming Teacher' they can be taken through a unique sign-in workflow.

  16. Background:
    In Europe all companies will be met by a new legislation that will impose the duty to digitally register the total amount of work time for ANY emplyee, month by month.

    This will open a brand new market to us. Not just in DK, but all over Europe actually. I have JUST met with a new potential customer that REALLY want to do business with us, but one tine thing is missing in ONL, to make it comply with this legislation.

    In the law it is stated that ANY employee MUST be able to access the registred data somehow.…

    Hello Martin, thank you for the submission.


    This is a great idea. We do have this in our roadmap however its scheduling is still a work in progress In essence our plan is to support a user being able to see a summary of their own 'time on site' for the last day, week, month, year. We plan on making these insights available via the mobile app (OnLocation Mobile) and via their dashboard if they login via desktop browser.


    Note; OnLocation Mobile is a free mobile app for your employees and we support iOS and Android). I will leave your idea open even though its in the roadmap as other users may wish to contribute to your idea.

  17. NEW PLACEHOLDER FOR TRIGGERS (EVENT_DATE)

    The main problem is that there is NO placeholder for DATE e.g. meaning the Data of visit / when the visitor is coming.

    Summary:
    Customer would like to have email when pre-registration is done
    Email should include, name, organization, email address, phone number and TIME and DATE of the EVENT/VISIT.

    Please add a new placeholder to be used:
    EVENTDATE or VISITOREVENT_DATE

    Thank you Jamie, at the moment OnEvac event notifications and SMS Self-Verify requests to those onsite are sent as SMS; which uses Plain Text so adding colour is out of our control. The same limitations exist for the 'Subject Line' in an email. What we are looking at is introducing a OnEvac notification as a Push Notification in OnMobile (the free mobile app for Employees and contractors). However; the employee can still override any notification (including a Push Notification); regardless of urgency or intent, by setting their notifications in their mobile device to 'Not Disturb' - we will continue to monitor iOS and Android functionality releases to see if we can accommodate your request at some time in the future.

  20. Add an option to send tokens directly to users by email or sms (the same way as inductions). This will allow users to have their access code digitally without having to print a badge.

    Hello Anaisis, your employees and contractors, if using the free OnLocation Mobile app, are automatically issued with a Token as a QR Code which can be used to express scan into a site. Refer to the Access Summary article below.
