  1. Customers are requesting more control over the induction experience. Two enhancements are proposed:

    1. Making the “Getting Started” tutorial video optional (Induction Kiosk only).

    2. Allowing the completion message to be editable for all induction courses, regardless of whether they are completed on the Kiosk or online.

    Current Behaviour
    A. Induction Kiosk Only
    Before an induction begins, users must go through three mandatory steps:

    a.1. Check your Profile
    b.2. Check your Organization
    c.3. Getting Started Video – “Learn how it works”
    c.4. The video step cannot be disabled.

    B. All Induction Completion Flows (Kiosk + Online)

  2. It would be valuable to be able to request default certifications be added directly to inductions. Eg, At a school where all contractors and volunteers require a Working with Children check.

    Thanks for your suggestion. We will open this up to votes and are planning a block of work on pre-authorizing contractors later this year.

    In the mean-time, did you know you can create a custom questionnaire that allows contractors to upload certification details when they sign in at a kiosk?   3. Currently, OnSite kiosks using Brother label printers on Microsoft Edge require manual confirmation for every print job. This slows down visitor and contractor processing, particularly in high-traffic environments, and creates inefficiencies for staff managing inductions or check-ins.

    Introducing a “Silent Printing” feature for Edge, allowing print jobs to be automatically processed without manual intervention. This feature could be configurable per kiosk or globally for a location.

    Benefits:

    Operational Efficiency: Streamlines check-ins and inductions, reducing time per visitor.

    Cost Savings: Less staff time spent monitoring or confirming print jobs if client prefers Edge.

  4. Customers would like the ability to report on the most recent onsite activity at the organization level, not just by individual contractor records.

    Current Limitation:
    The People Presence Report can show the last sign-ins per individual, but there is no automated or direct way to determine the last activity date for a contractor organization as a whole.

    Why This Matters (Customer Value):
    Many organizations manage contractor relationships at the company level rather than individual worker level. The ability to track an organization’s most recent onsite activity would support:

    Contractor compliance monitoring (e.g., “Which approved vendors are still active?”)

  5. Hi Team

    I have this request for deeper control from Matthew at Cummins. Could you consider the ability to turn on or off the ability for a Limited Certification Manager to add new certificates, as we have customers that use this feature, and giving the ability to turn on or off the option will give total control to the customer.

    Can we remove the ability of ‘Limited Certification Managers’ to add new certificates (limit user access or create a new user role)?

  6. It would be great to be able to archive inductions, that are no longer active, instead of all inductions always showing. We need to be able to keep old inductions, as evidence, so archiving would be fantastic. Thanks

  7. We use WhosOnLocation and OnEvac at a school.
    At present we can't use the OnEvac system to do Shelter In Place/Lockdown notifications to employees or guest on site. But it would be extremely useful if we could.

    We don't want to give guests or employees instructions to evacuate buildings when they should be finding a safe spot to conceal themselves away until an all clear is given to come out.

    We agree that supporting a wider variety of emergency situations is critical.

    We have a project in our roadmap to create 'incident management templates' which will allow you to create and trigger pre-configured emergency notifications with a customizable audience.

  9. Please add "Save and ADD NEW" button.
    With current solution if you add multiple visitors you need to click three (3) times to get back to to adding a new. Doing this with 10 - 40 people is very time consuming.

  10. It would be useful to be able to filter Zones on the Dashboards, so a screen can be placed near a sign-in point and only show staff/contractors signed into that Zone, not a whole site.

  11. Can you make is possible to batchprint pre-registered visitors badge passes? Add it like a feature to activate so its not on as default. We have a customer that print up to 100 passes at the time and they dont like to manually click out every pass.

  13. We already have an integration fro Alcolizer, I have asked multiple times over the past 6 years to allow randomisation to apply. Currently we can only breath test every person, customers are asking for and some of our competitors already have the ability to randomize who needs to complete a breath test. The ability for the customer to set some rules like every contractor must do 3 breath tests a year or 45% of contractors and 20% of employees must complete a breath test in a 12 month period.

I want Team Leaders to be able to check if an employee has completed an appointment offsite in the time expected. e.g. other employee tracking apps allow the employee to load expected time at appointment offsite, if they don't check in by x time their team leader gets a prompt to check in. The team leader will need to be different for employees in different teams. It needs to work offsite- e.g. bob goes to see client offsite at 4pm, expected to finish at 5pm, he goes straight home after. Team leader gets a prompt to check in at 5.15…

  15. If a staff member uses the SOS on their mobile their message should go to their team leader but at the moment I can only choose generic people to respond regardless of who presses SOS. I would like to be able to choose who gets it- as well as require at least 1 or 2 people who always get it.

  16. I want to send instant messages as a text message if needed to all employees. If something is an emergency staff will see it more readily if it comes through as a text message rather than an app notification. I want to choose if it goes as an SMS to all (e.g. an emergency notice) or app notification (non urgent message)

    Hi Andreas,

    I am pleased to tell you that this feature is in development and will be released very soon. Employees with the Sign in/out manager and/or Reports Manager user roles will have access to a new area called 'On-Site Insights' where they can look up who is currently signed in at their locations. Stay tuned for future updates.

  18. Question asked are inconsistent in their formatting across browser and mobile app. For example, question for expected duration on site from kiosk/QR code is asking for duration in minutes whereas in the mobile application is asking 24h time.

  19. Have an expiry period on a certification itself, much like inductions. E.g. First Aid cert entered in the Cert manager is given an validity period of 1yr. So any first aid certs uploaded for people automatically alert based on ValidFrom date entered. I know there's the ValidTo date on each uploaded cert, but this is pretty error prone and it would be a good reference for people to know that the cert is only valid in our eyes for 1year before they need to renew.

  20. Would it be possible to achieve the view on the Kiosks where all questions within the questionnaire are displayed on one screen, rather than one question per one screen (as it is when using Sign in/out Manager)?

    Hi Martyna,

    What device are you using for your kiosk?

    Showing sign-in questions all in one screen is available as a setting for PC kiosks. Due to the size of the screen and need for touch controls it is not currently supported on iPad kiosks. I will leave this open for votes as we gather requirements for future kiosk improvements.
