  1. It would be good if a mobile app was developed that would allow employees to view who is on-site. Currently, this functionality is only available through the desktop version and is not practical for mobile-based users or for checking while on a job site.

Another purpose for this would be during an evacuation, wardens can open the app and check the number of contractors/visitors signed in at the time of the evacuation.

  2. Would be beneficial for registering visitors and scanning their license in an all in one app. As of now you have to register the visitor on either the web browser/app, then open the OnScan app to scan the ID. Having it built into the OnScan app to register and scan ID will increase efficiency, especially when registering truck drivers with a tablet.

    Hi Andreas,

I am pleased to tell you that this feature is in development and will be released very soon. Employees with the Sign in/out manager and/or Reports Manager user roles will have access to a new area called 'On-Site Insights' where they can look up who is currently signed in at their locations. Stay tuned for future updates.

  4. If a staff member uses the SOS on their mobile their message should go to their team leader but at the moment I can only choose generic people to respond regardless of who presses SOS. I would like to be able to choose who gets it- as well as require at least 1 or 2 people who always get it.

    Hi Alison,

    Thanks for your feedback.

We want to ensure that an SOS message is always seen, which is why they have been developed to go to all SOS responders at a location. We will open this request up for voting & feedback from the wider community.

    Thanks

  5. I want Team Leaders to be able to check if an employee has completed an appointment offsite in the time expected. e.g. other employee tracking apps allow the employee to load expected time at appointment offsite, if they don't check in by x time their team leader gets a prompt to check in. The team leader will need to be different for employees in different teams. It needs to work offsite- e.g. bob goes to see client offsite at 4pm, expected to finish at 5pm, he goes straight home after. Team leader gets a prompt to check in at 5.15…

    HI Alison,

We have a scheduled roadmap item for later in 2025 to implement safety check-ins for employees and contractors. We will take your suggestion into consideration and open this up for further votes.

    Thanks

  6. Question asked are inconsistent in their formatting across browser and mobile app. For example, question for expected duration on site from kiosk/QR code is asking for duration in minutes whereas in the mobile application is asking 24h time.

  7. You should consider making OnSentry full online. We've been receiving many complaints from the customer, when using two or more CipherLab unis in the same location, due to its offline development; for example, if a contractor sign-in through an Access Point and, in a short time he/she try to sign-out through the other AP, the OnSentry set or placed in that area registers another sign-in for the same contractor, then, the security guy try to update database manually, but, is the Db is too heavy, the unit takes a long time to get Db updated.

    Hi Camilo,

    Thank you for your suggestion.

We are currently in the process of making improvements to OnLocation mobile to allow it to perform same tasks as OnSentry. These developments will take effect in the course of next 12 months.

We will consider how to improve the offline experience in this process. Thanks.

    Regards,

  8. Sending a trigger action via Push Notification rather than sms

This will stop high sms usage & fees.

  9. Add a basic reporting feature on OnLocation Mobile with a report with similar behaviour than "People Presence" found on the web app. Report can be more simple than the one on the web app by just asking a few options like source (Employee/Contractor/Visitor), just a date range, no filters, and avoiding the infographic (only the "report" format).

  10. Deliveries currently only get notified to employees via email or text message. Can the option for this to also be sent through the app as a push notification be added. (Same as when you have a visitor.)

  11. Add the ability to report and view hazards from the mobile app and notify users when they are close to a reported hazard

Also, Timed hazards will be very useful in farming. When spraying is done, hazards will exist for 24-48 hours and they expire
