  1. It would be good to be able to add a message on the actual statements instead of just in the email - not all owners receive emails and it means we are having to print an additional letter to communicate the message. i.e Christmas closure period, public holidays coming up, rates will be due in ........ etc.

  2. The weekly summary report that comes through shows rent areas as period which is not a true reflection of the rent arrears. Would be good if this report was customizable for the company or if it shows rent arrears as effective or even both period and effective.

  3. Routine inspections should not be able to be closed in PT without first attaching the report.
    There should be a warning pop up telling you that you cannot close inspection until report is attached.
    This will help when staff leave that you know the reports are there and inspections have not just been closed without doing the inspections.
    Would also help in disputes/tribunals as evidence

  4. At the moment you can use the Fee Editor to Bulk Edit Fees, if there is no Fee amount or % applied already. However, you can't do that if there is already a Fee amount or % applied and there is an outstanding fee within the database.
    It would be helpful to be able to bulk edit any existing Fee amounts and % too, and also select either some Fees or all Fees.

  5. When Receipting rent it would be good if you could use a short cut to the bottom receipt amount (+) like rest as now we have to add the weekly rent up and receipt the balance to invoice credit due to alot of tenants paying extra for water usage.
    PT doesn't let us know if for example: tenant pays fortnightly rent and one is at the old rent and one week at the new.

  7. Tenant invoices created through invoice genius should be able to be sent to all/multiple tenants not just the primary tenant (as this option is available when entering a single tenant invoice).

  8. Merge field for rent reviews – can we have the “Next Rent Review date” field that would pull from Lease, Rent & Outgoings as an option for a merge field? At present we can only use the “Rent Effective date” which is not always accurate if we have backdated CPI for example.

  11. I am an electrical contractor. Some of our customers use PropertyTree, some use other programs.
    With Property Tree the creditor statements come through as a link to the PDF in the email body rather than a PDF attached to the email like other programs like Property Me do.
    Because Property Tree creditor remittance emails do not have an attached PDF we have to manually download the PDF and then on-send into our accounting software. With other propgrams we can auto-forward without the need to do it manually.
    Can you please provide your customers with an option to send the creditor…

  12. When selecting 'Mail merge multiple' or 'email all' from the owner's screen, emergency contacts, accountants and other are all automatically included in the correspondence and it's a manual step to remove which can very easily be forgotten or missed. Can it be an option to add these contacts in instead of being automatic as a lot of information sent to Owners is sensitive?

  13. When a new tenancy is loaded and the let fee is triggered, could it be possible to create a trigger option for when the first rent is receipted by the new tenants? Owners have been a little upset sometimes that the let fee is charged prior to them receiving their rental payment...I know we can choose to manually do the let fee, however we would love a trigger option for this if possible.

  14. To be able to click on reply and select a template to use for your reply.

    This would save going into the template, copying and then pasting in your reply.

    A lot of replies to emails are template replies and having this feature would save time and make emails more professional. Thanks.

  15. Allow for the automatic routine inspection scheduling to be without a set time, so it reallocates the next inspection for the same time frame as the last inspection when it is closed rather than looking at the default inspection configuration.

Please allow Multiple Templates in Auto Comms Inspection Report: Ownership as we deal with 3 types of inspections (exits, entries and routines). 1 template does not cover all and there is no option to add others. We have to close of exits and sent them manually as the 1 template doesn't cut it. Same with entry condition reports. Thank you

  17. When checking due dates for Building/Pest Inspection, Finance approval etc, you have to go into the edit pencil beside BUYER: Deposit paid, Settlement date. We should be able to see important condition dates on the same page.

  18. There needs to be a property reference on ABA's for commission payments so we know what property we are receiving commission for.

  20. Why does Property Tree not have an option to enter a Company name & details for Vendors, Landlords & Tenants? This is for both Sales & Rentals.
