Ability to record property size information
Would be helpful if we could store information regarding sqm size and features of property for when rent reviews are being completed. Rest had a tab where you could display the sqm of the property and the current rate per sqm

Income & Expenditure Statements
Income & Expenditure Statements should be reformatted to be GST inclusive when showing expenses. Currently, e.g. 'Electrical' shows expense + GST on the next line. With only the total expense figure being GST inclusive.
EOM Statements show an expense as GST inclusive in the 'Money Out' column with the GST paid showed in the 'Expense' column e.g. Garden Maintenance (GST paid: $***)6 votes -

All email signatures currently are banners. This is very limited to having the entire content of an email signature within an image banner.
We need free text to create our own.

Lease only option when don't manage it for commercial
Suggest a lease only option when don't manage it for commercial properties but need to receive first months rent to cover lease fee - and system to be correct as not vacating the property either. Alot of work to enter and setup a tenant that not managing a second option for commercial lease only properties.

Management fee to start 4 months time
Currently if we offer 2 months free management fees to clients, there are no way in Property Tree such that the management fees will be charged after 2 months time.
For now, we have to remember to do this in 2 months time.
Maybe Management Fee option can be enhanced such that the trigger can happen after a certain date.

Allow cancelling a creditor invoice that was created via Maintenance API
Creditor invoices that have been created via Maintenance Partner sometimes need to be cancelled for various reasons but cannot be cancelled within Property Tree. Some reasons why they need to be cancelled:
- user error
- incorrect duplicate maintenance jobs created which then have duplicate invoices
- manually created creditor invoice and paid and now can't cancel the API created invoice
- Creditor invoice paid outside of Property Tree

Smoke Alarms Australia straight to compliance register
Smoke Alarms Australia can push invoices through to us via Invoice Automate (B+A) but the system cannot recognise these and add them to the compliance register. It would be super efficient if approving the invoice added the invoice to the compliance documents and updated the register's expiry and inspection dates.

Amend Creditor in "Edit Invoice" Section
Have the Ability to Amend the Creditor Entered (in Property-Financials-Edit Invoice) so invoice does not need to be reentered, as a whole

Back end activity log - invoices processed
When a invoice is processed, you cannot see which user has completed this or see a log.
We have had a couple of instances where we needed to address certain situations around task management and accountability and due to know log, it has made it difficult.

Creditor Invoice - Character Limit for descriptions
Would be great to not have a character limit when generating a creditor invoice
This will help with not having to adjust the contractors description at all.

Key number when searching for a property
When searching for a property rather than the property ID number appearing next to the address can this be changed to show the property key number? I rarely need the property ID but need key numbers multiple times a day, this change would save having to click into the property to get the key number. Thanks

Key number format
We have residences that have multiple rooms and we assign keys per room and also have groups/region of keys with a letter to distinguish the group/region eg:
A15/1
This format is not currently accepted as a key number.
We NEED to be able to record our key numbers in this way.
Currently they are recorded as eg: 15/1 but this will not prove acceptable moving forward.

Creating a tenancy credit - show this on ledger rather than cancel and reissue new invoice
Details in ledger to show credit details against an invoice rather than just showing reversal of original invoice and then same details with a lower amount owing on invoice. e.g. Original painter's invoice - less credit given by owner for compensation

Smoke alarm compliance
The old smoke alarm display had better information at a glance. It showed the date the smoke alarm was last serviced and the type of smoke alarm.
Could that please be included in the Register so it can be seen at a glance and not having to go via the pencil.32 votes -

Ability to overlap original lease start dates from previous tenant to new tenant
When a tenancy sells their business and the lease is transferred I would like to be able to set up the new tenancy and have the correct dates from the original lease. At the current time, the lease dates cannot overlap with the previous tenant which forces us to enter in the incorrect dates and pin a note to the tenancy.
