Let employees see their time on site current month
Background:
In Europe all companies will be met by a new legislation that will impose the duty to digitally register the total amount of work time for ANY emplyee, month by month.This will open a brand new market to us. Not just in DK, but all over Europe actually. I have JUST met with a new potential customer that REALLY want to do business with us, but one tine thing is missing in ONL, to make it comply with this legislation.
In the law it is stated that ANY employee MUST be able to access the registred data somehow.…

This is a great idea. We do have this in our roadmap however its scheduling is still a work in progress In essence our plan is to support a user being able to see a summary of their own 'time on site' for the last day, week, month, year. We plan on making these insights available via the mobile app (OnLocation Mobile) and via their dashboard if they login via desktop browser.
Note; OnLocation Mobile is a free mobile app for your employees and we support iOS and Android). I will leave your idea open even though its in the roadmap as other users may wish to contribute to your idea.

Addition of Zone to Printed Pass
Add the zone number to the pass that prints out.

OnEvac Summary - People Verified Safe should only include people currently onsite
When using the OnEvac app, I have found that the People Verified Safe graph is calculating all people in the selected zone, even when the Event is selected for Employees On Site Only.
As we have shift workers, we will always select Employees On Site Only, so this calculation will always calculate incorrectly. Surely this calculation should not be including people who are not currently on site? That's not logical.2 votes -
Tokens by email or SMS
Add an option to send tokens directly to users by email or sms (the same way as inductions). This will allow users to have their access code digitally without having to print a badge.

Add filter in "token holders"
for a business that manage more than 1,000 members from different companies, it would be great to add a filter in token holders to narrow by service provider.

Share to a user their history of checkin's via OnLocation
Provide each user with a history of their checkin's during a defined time period, eg. the last financial year, so that they can easily track their in office attendance. Helps when calculating 'Work from Home' tax deductions (251 working days, minus 20 days leave, minus 130 days of in office attendance = 101 days working from home).

Account already exists with this email address
Whenever an employee has been to a Location (school), they would be required to register their e-mail address in their WOL system, but it won't allow the same e-mail to be registered in another Location. This scenario happens between schools because many teachers work in more than one school using the same Department of Education e-mail address.
In my point of view, the duplication should be restricted by Location and not the whole system. The kiosk has a Location on its data, that should be enough to find which Location the sign-in is really happening.
1 voteThank you for your submission. We implemented single use email rules from day one in 2012 as part of best practise security however; we recognise today that in some use cases like yours this creates limitations.
We do have a solution with the recent release of the Custom Communities feature whereby each school can setup a Custom Community e.g 'Roaming Teachers' (distinct from say standard Employees who only work at that school). You then add those roaming teachers (that also work for other schools) to this new community as members. Next you add that 'Roaming Teachers' community to the sign-in kiosk options. When a teacher goes to sign in to your school using a Kiosk, QR Code or are signed in by an operator, they can select from 'Visitor', 'Contractor', 'Employee', or 'Roaming Teacher'. When selecting 'Roaming Teacher' they can be taken through a unique sign-in workflow.

Option to have a textbox for answering a questionnaire in eLearning/Induction/Courses
Option to have free text textbox for Employee/Contractors to answer an induction question as currently we only have an option to select a single/multiple/image options. This is basic requirement for any eLearning/Courses where the question type would be choice based ( single/multiple/image) selection or a free text for users to provide their comments. Kindly review and let me know when you think this can be added. We wanted to use OnLocation system as our core LMS system without having to license any other 3rd party systems.

If we add a 'free text' option then the ability to 'pass' someone on that specific question would be based on them entering something; in fact anything at all (even n/a). As we could assess a statement entered by the inductee being true or false is there are specific example you could share with me directly of a question.

When Editing Organization Members, Stay in Organization Tab
When you currently edit members in a specific organization and go back to the organization, it jumps back to members. It would be nice for the system to stay in the organization you selected to save time instead of having to go back to the organization tab, scroll back to the organization, go back to the members, then find the next member.

Gallagher Intergration for Access Control, Induction, and Certifications control
Add prebuilt integration for Gallagher Access Control systems with ability to push inductions and certifications data. This would allow us to automatically disable access when inductions or certifications expire.

Evac integration with 3rd party systems
We have an evacuation panel that allows staff to press an evacuation button which in turn sounds a tone across the site. It would be ideal that by pressing this button, it also triggers a Evacuation event with WolEvac (similar to what a Wol Evac manager would do). Currently we have to press the evacuation button and then also create an event in wol evac. A trigger could also occur the other way round with a Wol Evac event triggering the tone. Our Evacuation system is IP based and is part of the Jacques IP based public address system.

Import PowerPoint directly
Allow the functionality to upload a PowerPoint directly as images and raw text. The ability to select the page template and import content from a PPT slide would speed things up!

MFA for Admins
For added security, MFA(text/email/app) should be added for those that has Admin Role or Owner of the system even without enabling Single sign-on with SAML.

Better Emergency Alerts
Not sure if it's possible but make the OnEvac alerts more noticeable. If the push notification can be red, bolder, etc. Just so people are more likely to see it.
1 voteThank you Jamie, at the moment OnEvac event notifications and SMS Self-Verify requests to those onsite are sent as SMS; which uses Plain Text so adding colour is out of our control. The same limitations exist for the 'Subject Line' in an email. What we are looking at is introducing a OnEvac notification as a Push Notification in OnMobile (the free mobile app for Employees and contractors). However; the employee can still override any notification (including a Push Notification); regardless of urgency or intent, by setting their notifications in their mobile device to 'Not Disturb' - we will continue to monitor iOS and Android functionality releases to see if we can accommodate your request at some time in the future.

Contractor Documentation
We use “insurance” under Service Providers to store not only the insurances the providers should have contracted in order to work with us, but also to register other legal documents required by law when doing business with us. This information are company (not individual) certifications. Some examples: A legal certification of a company to do high rise window cleaning or a lega certification of a heat generators maintenance company to perform works on this kind of equipment, etc. My suggestion, is to extend/modify the concept of Insurance not only to insurances policy but also to other “company qualifications”, or more…

Option to add employees onsite days and times and send Reminder to staff who forgot to sign in or sign out
If there is a click button in sign In/Out Manager for the admin person to send out an reminder to all staff who have not signed in or signed out that would be great and for this an option to put their on site days and times while creating their profile is required.

Ability to enter a note when off-site or away
Our reception team use OnLocation to monitor who is on site or working remotely. It would be useful to have the ability for employees to add a note via the app which shows on the dashboard. For example 'Working from home', 'At a conference in Wellington', Annual Leave until 12 January' etc - which is visible as an optional column in the Sign In/Out Manager section.
