Auto email work orders for compliance items ie fire, thermoscan, backflow checking
It would be great if work orders could be automated for the regular compliance items as it is so time consuming. Things like 6 months fire checks, annual backflow testing, annual thermoscans.

Recording external expenses on statements
An option to include a method to track external expenses within Property Tree so that they are recorded on ownership statements and annual I&E Statements for tax purposes.
I have a few owners that like all their property expenses to be recorded in once place so they don't have to worry about saving seperate reciepts to give to their accountant.
E.G. recording a Bunnings reciept for a replacement shower head that was installed by the owner rather than a handyman/plumber.

An option to set more than one primary recipient.
One property has two owners who have strongly requested they both receive all email communications. Currently we can only select one primary recipient in PT (which suits 99% of our owners) so we are relying on memory to do this manually. This is far from ideal.
It would be ideal to select all the recipients who want to receive email correspondence.

Commercial Transaction History
It would be good to see all invoices issued and/or cancelled as well as receipts on the tenancy history so we don't have search for invoices or link the invoice to the payment receipt for easy access.

Maintenance Snooze Date
It would be great if maintenance could have a due date on it so that it is only shown in the maintenance list if it is due, similar to a task? With the option to filter to see all maintenance as well. But at the moment when I look at my maintenance list I'm overwhelmed by what needs to be action, but often I'm waiting for quotes/approval and sometimes I don't need to action it for 2-3 weeks, so it would be great for it to be removed from the list until it is due to be actioned, so that…

Commercial tenancy filtering so accounts teams get invoices/receipts while on-site staff get routine and maintenance notices.
I wanted to provide some feedback on how Property Tree could improve, particularly for managing commercial properties.
At present, the system does not allow us to filter which tenants receive specific types of notifications. For example, in many commercial tenancies, there is both an accounts team (who need to receive invoices and receipts) and on-site staff (who need to receive routine inspection notices and maintenance notifications). Currently, all parties receive everything, which creates confusion.
It would be extremely beneficial if Property Tree allowed us to set preferences or filters for each tenancy contact, so that we can choose:

Needing Visible Label for STRATA in Property Details
In the Property Tab it would be great if under property Details there was provision for STRATA property to be identified next to Property Type, number of bedrooms, number of bathroom , number of parking. There are so many new houses now which look like are free standing Torens Title BUT are Strata Title... which causes so much confusion because By Laws are not thought to be asked for. Please can this be considered to alert all us property managers about STRATA properties...

Enable creditor credits to be entered
When a creditor gives a refund (credit) against his original invoice.
It would be good to allow the credit to be entered against his previous invoice or on his ledger.

turn off automated reminders
It would be great if we could select to have automated reminders off on weekends and public holidays. Currently we have to manually turn off on a Friday and back on Monday. To have an option to have them automatically switch off for these times would be fantastic and stop a lot of abuse and grumpy people emailing to say a payment has been made and we don't receipt over weekends. Despite having an automated email advising everyone, they don't seem to read these.

Option to bulk edit & close Ingoing inspections
As you are able to bulk edit and close routine inspections in Inspection Summary, also have the option to do this for Ingoing inspections (for apartment/co-living accommodation configurations).

Invoice Genius
It would be very helpful if all users within the same agency could view invoices uploaded via Invoice Genius, regardless of who uploaded them — as long as they have access to the same portfolio or property.
Currently, it seems that invoices are only visible to the user who uploads them, which limits collaboration and can lead to duplicated efforts or confusion.
This feature would improve team workflow, transparency, and invoice management across the team.

remove archived tenants from drop down when making an email
If I'm send the owner an email for eg a rent increase remove the old tenant from the drop down menu. If they are archived why do I need to email them?

COMPRESSED BPAY REFERENCE NUMBERS REJECTED BY BANK
Every mid-month and end-month I encounter a very frustrating issue involving BPay batch payments. Most strata invoices and some other creditors have very long BPay reference numbers. DEFT Payment Systems, for example, have 16 digit reference numbers.
The issue is this: When PT generates the BPay batch file for uploading, PT compresses the long reference numbers when generating the Excel spreadsheet which is then imported to our bank trust account. A long reference number gets converted to 85730570+16, for example. The bank trust account rejects these compressed reference numbers due to an invalid character (the '+' symbol).
