Owner and Tenant Portals - Post your feedback
Hi Supporters! We're wanting to refresh the Owner and Tenant Portals and invite you to comment below any feedback regarding this. What do you like or dislike about the current Portals? Is there additional information that you'd like to provide to your Owners and/or Tenants? All previous Portal suggestions have been noted for this project.
We are pleased to advise that new Owner and Tenant Portals are now in Development! This will be accessible on both web and Apps for Owners and Tenants. We'll let you know once this is available for EAP and general availability.

I dislike how I see alerts for all messages that come into the portal not just for my owners I only want to see alerts relating to my portfolio.

For generated Income and Expenditure reports to be saved in the Ownership portals.

Would love an option for portal messages and communication centre to be combined, so there isn't two places to check for messages.

Update: Linked invoice information including the invoice attachment do not appear in the tenants portal, however if you upload a copy of any financial documents to the maintenance job under the photos/attachments area then this will appear.

Its disturbing to find that through the tenant portal they have access to landlords invoicing/and pricing for maintenance carried out.
and because of this we will not share the portal with our tenants which is a true shame as everything else in the portal is truly fantastic -

Tenant Portal: We would like to have the option to turn off the maintenance info in the portal. We don't believe the tenants should be able to see owner Invoices/financials for jobs completed.

Owner Portal: It would be great to have the option to display their current Account Balance / Summary, and any outstanding invoices to be paid. This way, they know what to expect with their next payment. Whilst the ownership ledger is great, it does not display fees to be charged, or invoices to be paid.

A tenant has called me up and advised his portal shows he is in arrears. I ahve checked his account and he has a part payment which effectively pays him up to another date so he is not in arrears. Is there a way the portal can work of the effective dates. This has been asked before on the weekly reports that come throguh as well as it shows arrears but does not take into account most have paid extra to move forward so their effective date is not passed yet so they are not techicnally in arrears. This would help a lot to avoid unneccassary phone calls from upset tenants and also confusing the directors when they see the reports asking why the arrears is so large when infact its not.
