  1. As with auto comms for up coming routine inspections, auto comms for rent increases just before they are about to commence would be helpful.

  3. I'm all for the new multiple security measures you've put in place, but I'm NOT down with being automatically logged out after 59 minutes of being inactive. I hop in & out of Property Tree at various times throughout the day, and often I'm out for more than an hour at a time. I want to ONLY have to log in to Property Tree ONCE in the morning, and then not have to keep re-logging in. It's annoying and frustrating ! It should keep you logged in until say 6pm at night for example.

    We're pleased to announce there is a new Company Security section within your Configuration > Trust & Company Details that allows you to set your automated logout time. This can be set for 1,2 or 3 hours - You will then be logged out of Property Tree if it is left idle for the time you have set.

  4. With automated invoice processing becoming more common, we have an increasing amount of commercial tenants requesting invoices be attached to an email as a PDF as well as a link in the email itself?

    We're pleased to advise that Tenancy Invoices and Tenancy Receipts will now be sent from Property Tree as a PDF attachment. Check out the release notes or product update video for more details. It's recommended you update your Invoice and Receipt templates under Automated Communications > Accounts.

  5. Would be helpful to have an out of office option for messages that are received out of hours. Especially when a tenant is requesting maintenance. We could then include emergency contact details to the email etc

    We're pleased to advise that the ability to configure an Automatic Reply for emails has been released. You'll find a new Auto icon in the Communication Platform with the ability to set an auto reply for your inbox, or the company inbox. Please note, the Portals will be going through some extensive development next year which will change the portal messaging behaviour.

  6. It would be extremely helpful in tribunals or regarding any communication discrepancy to have this feature attached to emails sent so you can see whether the recipient has received and opened the email (also including a time and date stamp).

    We're pleased to advise that this feature has been released! You can now see the opened date/time for emails that are sent from Property Tree in the Communications History. This information will appear in the status details column, if you cannot see this column by default, use the three dots menu to select it to appear. Thanks for helping us make this happen.

  7. The new Communications Platform does not have a Forward ability and only has a reply option. Work around: If you reply to the email and replace the email address to the recipient required this will then work as a forward. Would be easier to just have a Forward option.

  8. We need to be able to invoice for residential rent, like commercial. We have a lot of businesses that pay rent for their employees and this is a very manual process

    We're pleased to advise that the Tenancy Statement has now been released. You can generate this via a Tenancy Profile, under the Actions Menu and Print / Send Statement. You can select to show outstanding invoices, and/or rent due to a certain date (it will default to the next full period when a tenant is paid up to date, to the current full period when a tenant is in arrears, or to the vacate date when a tenant is vacating. This can be produced for rent only, rent and invoices, or invoices only.

  9. Ability to enter an increase to bonds like we do when entering a rent increase to the rent schedule, and this would need a due date.

    The due date could trigger an auto comms to send that the bond top up of X is due to be paid, and auto comms could be set to send X days ahead.

    This way, the original bond details remain (what was required at the time of commencement) and would track all bond top ups as rents are increased during the tenancy.

  10. Have a Tenant/Owner's "Preferred" Name show in the Contacts View. At the moment you can only view a tenant's preferred name if you open up the Contact to amend it. It would make a huge difference when making phone calls to have the preferred name show on the main Ownership/Tenancy screen.

    We're pleased to advise that you can now setup multiple authentication methods for accessing Property Tree such as Google Authenticator, Okta Verify, and Biometrics (Face recognition/fingerprint access) alongside SMS. We strongly recommend having more than one form of authentication configured, and you can choose which one to use when logging in or making account changes in Property Tree. Thank you for your patience as we rolled out the new login process. Check out the Multifactor Authentication Options to learn more about the MFA options available or Change Multifactor Authentication to learn how to update your factors.

  13. Be able to invoice a tenant direct to creditor not through the owner. For example if the bond claim is received prior to the invoice being received the owner does not get paid the creditor gets paid the invoice. Rest used to have this option.

  14. Option to have Owner/Tenant Portals active so our clients can login and see information but have the option to turn off portal messaging. Owners/Tenants would just email as normal. There's alot of limitations to the Portal messages inbox. We want to use the portals but would prefer not to use Portal messages.

    We're pleased to announce that all emails sent to your Portal Contacts will be sent as emails, and those contacts can reply to your emails! No more having to login to the Portals to reply! If you are using the communication platform, then those replies will come into your Property Tree inbox. If you aren't using the Communications Platform, then those replies will go to your external email inbox. You will still be able to send a Portal message if needed, as will your Portal contacts, however the amount of portal messages will decrease as the primary form of communication is now emails.

  15. Creditor statements are sent to the main contact against the creditor. This should only be for maintenance. The statement should be linked to the accounts contact, if one is entered. Primary should only be used if there is no accounts contact

    We're pleased to announce that this suggestion has now been released! Creditor Contacts that are marked as Accounts will receive a copy of the Remittance Statement via email. The Company Contact will still receive a copy of the Remittance Statement as normal.

  16. When doing a bulk mail merge, whether email or letter, we want to be able to edit the text before it's sent. Currently it's really time consuming having to alter the template itself prior to the merge and then change the template back again. This is primarily to enter a breach date for arrears

  17. Like REST , can we please be able email tenants/ landlord's ledger as and when it is viewed in order to save time. Else, we have to save on desk top and then email . Later delete what's on the desk top - It's all time consuming! Thanks

  18. Be able to send another email by replying to your own email when you want to send another message related to the first but you can't because the owner/tenant hasn't replied to your original message yet so instead of continuing on the same thread you have to make a whole new email thread. And that can get messy and confusing.

    We're pleased to advise you can now forward the latest email as part of an email thread, allowing you to capture all of the related email conversations. This includes when you send an email and the contact has not yet replied - locate the email in the sent folder and select to forward.

  19. It would be helpful to have the portal messages in the same area as the communication platform. Checking and replying to messages in two different areas is confusing and time consuming
