I am currently raising 196 residential tenancy invoices every month and then going back and deleting them so that our tenants can receive their "monthly rental invoice" for processing through the respective accounts departments - majority of them mining companies. This is laborious so I look forward to be able to essentially have an easier system where you set and forget on loading.

We're pleased to advise that as part of the Tenancy Statement work to show outstanding invoices, we have included the ability to produce a statement for rent due to a chosen date. This can be produced for rent only, rent and invoices, or invoices only. -

How can this be done?

Can you please let us know if this is going to be a thing as we have quite a few commercial / company tenancies under Residential property management who ALL want to have an invoice for RENT.

This would help immensley as we have several properties that we create invoices for and with different people receipting it causes a real problem and many errors when the invoice gets receipted. Rent dates don't change and owners get paid.

Any updates on this becoming available? Needs to be set up so the rent payment is allocated to rent payments once paid using the invoice number

Would love to see this happen! 90% of my portfolio is Company Leases which makes it time consuming manually typing invoices every month!

Be able to create and generate rental invoices to send to tenants. For example, generate an amount owing on an invoice to a vacate date.

This is 100% needed. We have the issue with Carspaces where they are generally leased by local businesses. We have them under 'Residential' so we need to manually create invoices.

There needs to also be the option to 'Automatically generate and send' the invoice for selected Residential tenancies

This is a real short fall from PT, I am considering other software as I am losing so much time manually processing and deleting invoices.

Not being able to provide rent invoices is causing some issues. At the moment we are raising recurring invoices to send out but then when rent is received, it is allocated to the invoice rather than to rent, so the rent paid to information is then incorrect. The only way to monitor this is to manually check. We have just had an issue with a tenant who received a rent invoice but they had already paid their rent to vacate. The amount owing was incorrect because a receipt a few months prior had been applied to an invoice instead of to the rent, which meant the paid to date was incorrectly showing.
This is extremely manual and open to error as was the case for this one. It also makes tenant ledgers very difficult to read. thanks

We should be able to generate a tax invoice from the rent schedule for residential tenancies. Where we have a commercial entity renting a residential property, this should be an option available to us.

Just thinking about how this feature could work and be void with standard rentals. What if this function was only available to tenancies with ABNs and once that ABN is input into the system this feature becomes available?

I have a heavy load of properties that are rented through companies and this doesn't look to change over the coming years. I spend large amounts of time manually creating invoices every month for these companies which allows for so much error. I think this could be a feature Property Tree could boast it has. The lack of this function has me looking at other systems to see if it is available.

We have now created our own invoices, as creating and then deleting invoices through PT shows on the ledger.
We need this auto function, it will be a time saver aswell.

Company Invoicing for Residential Rent - this is a major shortfall on the program, we should be able to invoice 14 - 30 days prior to the rent being due with the dates included for the rental payment due. I cannot believe that Property Tree cannot have this implemented as you already have the option to put the due date in for 14 or whatever days ahead but then you cant have the dates included on the invoice when setting up recurring invoices. It is causing us major headaches and was a real issue even with Rest.

Corporate tenants who have a residential lease have an expectation and requirement of monthly invoices, would be ideal to have the option in the residential section to turn on or off auto invoices for rent. We can currently create a manual invoice that we then have to go in and delete but this is cumbersome and time consuming. Thanks
