Dedicated Key Register (sign in/sign out)
it would be really helpful to have a key register where we could assign key in/out and assign trades/ownerships/tenants etc. and also the individual with the keys (i.e. jack) and contact information for the individual responsible for the key. Also to be able to print a report of the keys each day to see which keys are still out with trades. an important part of this would be to have the ability to have the keys "not to be returned" or similar if an owner is taking possession or management ending etc.

I agree. Definitely something that’s much needed and currently missing in PT. From what I can tell, this feature isn’t available because Proptech already has its own key management system - Key Automate. Now that Proptech sits under the MRI umbrella, I’d say it’s pretty unlikely PT will build this out, since Key Automate is another revenue stream for MRI.

When booking routine inspections and they are confirmed, the key register would mark the key as 'out' and when the inspection is completed, sign key 'in'

I would love a quicker way to sign keys in and out - maybe like the "Contacts App" where keys can be signed out/assigned quickly. I saw another agency had a barcode system and they could scan the keys to particular trades and then scan them back in.

This would be good for the Log in/out if it was in the work order section but also linked back to the property
