Have an area in communications for staff to communicate important information regarding the property/tenant so everyone can see what is happening, eg "advised plumber that the owner authorised replacement of hwu". Everyone can see that it has been actioned.

Mail Merge Attachments (where they are)
Could the attachment be in the body - currently it can be there or all the way at the bottom so is easily missed.
Any attachment that is added in addition to those included in the template will appear outside the body of the email. If a banner is included however, then the attachments will appear after the banner as the banner is pulled as part of the body of the email.

Bulk mail merge to multiple selected owners
To have the option to have a second email address noted as a secondary email so an email can be sent to two owners and not all emails or just the primary email address when creating and sending a bulk mail merge.

'floating' text box for creating text messages
When creating a text message it would be great to have that as a 'floating' pop up window to enable the information ie arrears amount when inputting the SMS to be viewed while creating the text.

Merge field for tenancy invoice amount
There is no option for tenancy invoice amount merge field to be added to the tenancy invoice email template. please get this added so the amount appears in the email and tenants don't need to click the link.

Set up automated communication for agent
Currently we can set up to automatically a tenant or owner that the lease is due for renewal at x days. We would like an option that we can set up automatic emails to the agent at x days so they can be triggered to individualize the communication to the owner.

Updated merge fields for mail merges. In particular; utilising the Moving Out date in Vacating Information to be used to inform tenants and owners about vacating procedures.

Add phone conversation as a communication record
It would be great if the communications tab could be expanded to include a record of phone calls. I know a note could be created, but all communication events should really be in the one place.
Currently you can see all emails and text messages that have been sent but having the ability to manually add a record of a conversation would really complete this feature.
The communications tab could then be enhanced with an option to filter by 'category'.

Categorize merge templates so they are easy to find when using the dropdown
We have so many mail merge templates that when we use the dropdown to select the template we have a big list of them to go through (currently in alphabetical order). Would be great to have custom categories for our mail merge templates so that all the rent arrears templates displayed together, and then all the lease templates etc.

Ad Hoc emails
Have been using Ad Hoc emails and adding a second email address to get a copy emailed to additional tenants etc - but that doesn’t show up in the Communications or Print View (and it really should). Otherwise we have no record that the email went to both email addresses.

Saved Edited Merge Letters
Could there be a way to save the edited version of a Merge Letter? The letter template only is saved into Communications so no record is kept of what was actually typed and sent.

Filter Communications by Portfolio
Currenting in the Communications you can filter assigned to me or company, we are a larger office with 5 portfolio's it would assist with being able to filter by portfolio. 1 to monitor each portfolio on how they are tracking with response. 2 if a staff member is off sick or on leave another team member can filter there communications and action accordingly.

Salutation merge field displays full name
Need to have the firstname seperated so that mail merge and communication has this entered correctly instead so that letters are addressed correctly.

Ability to easily send rent arrears notice manually for just one tenant when needed
Some tenants need reminding that rent has just dropped into arrears sooner than others, like repeat offenders, on the tenancy profile, where you can turn on or off rent arrears notices, it would be great to be able to quickly click a button that would send a rent arrears notice via email or text to only that tenant.

Automatic Communication (copy agent in)
When setting up an Auto Communication, it would be good to have an option to copy in the user/point of contact. I.e setting up lease expiry emails to tenants. It would be good to be alerted somehow when this email is automatically sent to tenants so we can follow up if there is no response.

When emailing anywhere in PropertyTree, be able to copy or bcc in any contact linked to that profile or company contact
When sending an email, or maintenance job it would be great to be able to have a list of known contacts appear that can be copied into the email. So if this was maintenance for a property you could chose to copy in the owner and/or tenant (and their email would appear to select), also any company contact, so the Property Manager could be copied into the email too.

Invitations to Portal (Owners)
Instead of the standard 'Find Out More' link that takes everyone (PM's Tenants and Owners) to the same webpage of Property Tree, create bespoke Property Tree Landing pages that detail features and benefits to Tenants/ Owners etc. The current page it takes users to is a sales page for Property Tree and so more suitable to prospective agencies and PM's.
Or, simply remove this link in the invitation emails as the email text itself tells owners the benefits of the system for them.2 votes
