Owner and Tenant Portals - Post your feedback
Hi Supporters! We're wanting to refresh the Owner and Tenant Portals and invite you to comment below any feedback regarding this. What do you like or dislike about the current Portals? Is there additional information that you'd like to provide to your Owners and/or Tenants? All previous Portal suggestions have been noted for this project.
We are pleased to advise that new Owner and Tenant Portals are now in Development! This will be accessible on both web and Apps for Owners and Tenants. We'll let you know once this is available for EAP and general availability.

It would be very helpful for portal messages to be visible against the tenancy or owner. It would also be very helpful for these to be 'completed' so they drop off once they are read or actioned.

It is important to have the control to share what is shown on the Owners Portal. There should be a function in PT, to switch information shown off/ on for owners, or tenants

Our owners would like to be able to see how much bond in being held for their tenancies, when they view details through their owner portal.

I would love to see a change of colour for when the Tenant or Owner has joined the portal. That way the Property Manager can know which way they can communicate with them.

Currently owners that have multiple properties have to choose which property they are after from a drop down menu on the owner portal, we would like this to be updated so that the dashboard has easy access and an overview of their full portfolio so they don't have to go through individual properties via the drop box.

Owner Portal - owners that have multiple properties to have a clearer overview of their whole portfolio on the dashboard. Currently any multi owners have to use the drop down to go through each property. I have received feedback where on their dashboard they would like to see a brief overview of everything so they don't need to go into each property.

Have the option to prevent tenants changing an inspection date through the portal. Our PMs have sometimes only found out on the day of the inspection that the tenant has changed the day in the background.

Remove the ability for renters to change the routine inspection days or times via the portal comms. Once this has been removed we would be able to turn on the auto reminder comms without any renters input. Thanks

I would love to see maintenance turned off from the owner portals, it is confusing for them and is time consuming to try and explain. Also, only show portal messages relevant to the pm, not the whole company in the inbox.

Have an option to select what an owner can see in the portal e.g option to turn off maintenance detail/view in owner portal

I would like to have the ability to turn off and on features in both portals, it is our business and therefore we should be able to decide what features we want to use, it shouldn't be decided for us. Due to legislative timeframes on maintenance in our State we have not turned on the Tenant portal as we can't risk tenants reporting Emergency Maintenance through the portal after hours that we don't see until Monday, as our legislation allows the tenant that if not completed in 24 hours to organise any trade at any cost to complete the repair and the owner is responsible for the invoice.
I believe both tenant and owner portal should have items you can select to open up to the either. i.e if you only want the owner to see statements and invoices then select those. If you only want the tenant to see ledger, rent payment date lease document etc, then select those.. I don't understand why this is not something that as a MRI client that we can choose for what suits our business and interests, as after all we are the paying clients! -

We do not have any of our tenants using the tenant portal purely because we do not want them logging any maintenance through this system. Can the maintenance either be disabled or the abiltity be there for a tenant to report maintenance however this is through the Bricks & Agent platform in the portal.
