I find it strange that this feature was available via REST yet the newer platform still does not have this feature available. We found it highly effective when using it with REST as it kept our arrears level in order with less time consumed in doing so.

Good idea. We could simply have negative days in the current arrears process so "-4 days" could send out a reminder to pay rent email.

Absolutely agree with this. Came here to add the suggestion and found it already here. I can't believe this is not already a standard feature. The agent I rent through uses a program that sends me a 1 day before reminder which is very helpful, an email on the day to advise rent has been debited and a receipt once cleared. This would help lower arrears and fill a very important gap.
