We have an issue where holding deposits are taken by Direct Debit but we have to convert the tenant from a prospect to load in the direct debit details. This is then charging our new tenancy fees.

We need to be able to convert the tenant but have the trigger for the fee be Original Lease Start Date.

Having to convert a tenant from a prospect to get an ingoing completed and lease generated (without having to duplicate the information) means we are charging an owner fees before the lease commences.

The only work around is to have duplicate fees set up as a manual fee. We then have to cancel the new tenancy trigger fee and charge the fees as a manual fee when the lease starts.
