Auto Communications - Time and days that communications are sent
Auto Communications - Time / Day Communications are Sent -
We are constantly receiving reports from tenants that auto-communications are being received after 6.00pm.
This is not reasonable.
The auto-communications should be RECEIVED during business hours.
We should also have the ability to select whether our office chooses to send auto-communications on weekends or public holidays.
This is an issue that Property Tree should be fixing now. It's certainly been discussed enough times.

Can we request an option under Rent Arrears Automations to have the option to turn off notifications on weekends - ie send only on weekdays.
Our office does not conduct banking on weekends. -

We have had many complaints on when particularly SMS notifications are being received. I agree that between 6pm and 6am is inappropriate. And it would be nice to turn off arrears notifications on public holidays.

This would be AMAZING!! It could be set up as “send auto arrears on:” and you then select the days of the week.
We have actually turned our auto arrears off completely and we do them manually because there were so many issues when we forgot to turn them off or back on. -

Hello,
Automated arrears messages need an update, we require a feature for automated days which arrears messages can be turned off for the weekend automatically.Currently to turn off arrears for a weekend it has to be manually done on a Friday and then manually turned on Monday, if this is forgotten then it can potentially be in breach of the Tenancies act.
Having an automated turn on/off time would be great to ensure no potential issues arise.
Hopefully this could be a simple update that will significantly improve automated arrears through property tree.

Ability to suspend automated email for rental arrears on weekends.
We would like to send automated arrears notice only on weekdays, from Monday to Friday. It can be set by one-click at Configuration, however, we might forget to do it sometimes. If we can set up the day to send automated emails, that would be helpful. -

Currently the messages are sent at 6pm, would be better to have them sent earlier so the tenant can receive the message and then immediately speak with someone

It would be great if we have the option to have automated communications send only on business days (Monday-Friday). When tenants receive an automatic arrears communication on a weekend, a lot of tenants then call our afterhours number to advise if they have paid rent/when they will pay.
If they only received them on business days, this would be more convenient. If their arrears day falls on a weekend, then it would default to send the notification on Monday instead.

We would love this! We have had some tenants in the past leave us very abusive phone messages saying we should not be contacting them after 6.30PM and on Sundays

Ability to select which days Auto Communications will be active.
Example being about to select that is turns off for Saturday/Sunday and automatically turns back on Monday. With reconciliations not done over the weekend and potentially forgetting to manually turn off the auto-communications, saves incorrect notices being sent.
