Have commercial invoices attached as PDF, not a link
With automated invoice processing becoming more common, we have an increasing amount of commercial tenants requesting invoices be attached to an email as a PDF as well as a link in the email itself?
We're pleased to advise that Tenancy Invoices and Tenancy Receipts will now be sent from Property Tree as a PDF attachment. Check out the release notes or product update video for more details. It's recommended you update your Invoice and Receipt templates under Automated Communications > Accounts.

Yes we need this function. Due cybersecurity protocols some payment systems will not click on links in emails. Can we please have an update on when this will happen.

Any chance someone from MRI is going to respond to this? Last update is from almost 12 months ago! This is a very necessary implementation that is vital for commercial invoicing.

This is really becoming a concern as I have at least 50 tenants now that I have to manually send a PDF as their systems do not recognise a link. Can you advise if we are any closer to this happening?

Seriously guys this is becoming a need not a want, we are spending countless hours manually sending invoices out as PDFs now for 90% of our commercial tenants, almost makes your 'automation' redundant!!
Most accounting software packages automatically match PDFs for payments which is why the request is becoming so urgent. Naturally, cyber security is also a major factor.
Any updates on this request? ? ? ?
Thank you in advance. -

Hi are we any closer to having this implemented?? More people will not click on a link as too many suspicious links going around. Please advise when this will be finalised. Thank you.

Hi we are new to PT, however, we've had numerous requests from tenants requesting PDF invoices instead of links due to security. Hope this is available soon. Thank you

Agree with comment below - multiple commercial tenants seeking pdf's as due to security risk, tenants won't click the links necessitating a manual system be implemented within our office.

I am gettimg more and more companies that are refusing to open links due to cyber security concerns as well. It is frustrating to have to send it through as a pdf manually, it defeats the purpose of auto generated invoices.

Yes, their acounting software needs the PDF to process. Also the tenant ID should be shown as the reference. As automatic receipting of rent on Property Tree end needs the tenany ID as the reference. OR make the invoice number relate to the tenants payment receipt.

Please make this happen!!! I spend half my week sending out PDF invoices to tenants as they can't open the links.

Hi, another request for this today from one of our tenants. Can you please advise if this is on the drawing board as with changing technology this is required to adequately have our tenancy invoices firstly received (so they don't go to junk due to links being in emails) then processed as many modern invoice payment systems require pdf's.

most commercial companies use accounting packages (Xero, MYOB etc.) to automatically pay creditors and bills, these packages can only pick up PDF attachments so the link is becoming more of a hinderance than a help. Our office has to note all tenants with systems that can not process a link and manually issue PDFs for monthly rentals - kinda defeats the purpose!! :-)

I agree, a lot of the invoices are paid by 3rd party payment companies. They only accept PDF invoices.

This is becoming more and more important as emails with download links are being flagged as Junk emails and companies move to automated payment systems that do not recognise download links. Please can you implement this asap.
