Very good idea

Currently in the First name field we are putting the tenants first and middle name. this then gets pushed out on mail merge emails.
We have populated preferred field with just the first name but I dont have the option to use this for a mail merge

OMG! I thought this would be a definite! We are Australian, not English. Christopher is Chris, Robert is Bob and Terrence is Mike. Also, we can then send one email to "Vic and Gail" when it is in Victors name but we know Gail makes the decisions although not named on title. High Importance please. You already have the field in the Profile, should be easy to create the merge field. :) PLEASE!

The preferred name is essential to be used as the salutation in communications as sometimes the landlord is a Superfund or Company and any communications to the landlord presently use the Company name as the salutation in a letter, not idea.

Can we have an update on using preferred owners names will be implemented?

Can you please add the Owner's Preferred Name as a mail merge template option?

to ensure that people are being addressed as per the Preferred name

It would be great if the Preferred Name
- can be searched via Global Search too
- can be used elsewhere in the database other than just Business Insights
