  2. Ability to upload 1 document with multiple pages (invoices) to Invoice Genius, then split into individual invoices, like in FileSmart.
    And also being able to merge invoices

  3. currently there is the ability to do a Property Journal or an Owner Journal.

    It would be very useful to also have journals for:

    • Tenancy Funds Journals: to allow journaling between tenancy funds where tenant may have different properties or moved from one property to another

    • Sales Journals: to allow journaling from Marketing & Sundries to Sales Deposit and vice versa

  4. As you did for the renewal fee to automatically charge when lease renewal dates are changed (as an event) could the same principles be applied for Advertising Fees one a prospect tenant has been converted to a current tenant

  5. We have just had a complaint about the wording on the Tax Invoices issued. When a new Tax Invoice is issued it has all the others issued prior listed as outstanding when in actual fact they are not outstanding. They are due in the future. Is there a way of changing the wording on this Statement that is issued to the Tenants

  6. Display the Property Manager’s name in Invoice Genius on the ‘Bulk Processing’ screen, next to the Property address, so we can identify the PM and bulk forward invoices (similar to FileSmart).
    Also display the PM on the invoice screen once the invoice has been opened and Property selected, which will be helpful for any invoices that were not bulk processed users currently have to have 2 screens open, to find out who the PM is, before they can forward the invoice

  7. Remove the future bookings from the owner statements and only list the bookings that are being paid. Some properties have a large number of future bookings and it's very distracting for the owner when looking at their statement. They are only interested in what they have been paid and what expenses they have incurred

  8. We need a way to track Invoices through Invoice Genius. Once an invoice is sent there is no way to prompt a PM to approve or to flag that the invoice has already been entered into invoice genius. There is no record of notes for the activity pertaining to an invoice. Invoices need to be time stamped with status updates - Entered > approved > Processed > paid.

It would be wonderful if we could nominate a particular Month to withhold funds, for example, owner insurance is due on 30th April each year, along with Council Rates, my owner has requested to hold funds for February & March preceding to enable there to be enough money to cover. If we could enable this on request (sometimes 6 months in advance) it would be easier to remember

  11. An alert should come up when sending out an invoice via the create tenancy invoice to a tenant who does not have emails or it should print automatically. The button is "Create Invoice" so unless you look for the details you can think it has emailed, as it doesn't prompt to print.

  13. Creditor Remittances - would be good to be able to add a deposit reference (eg account number) to show on the receivers bank statement. Even though the remittance is emailed some large companies (eg credit check companies who receive 100's of deposits daily) receipt the funds incorrectly based on the company name on the bank statement being similar to another agency. They also say the emailed remittance is not received, could be in junk, maybe blocked by email hoster, but either way our funds are not being allocated correctly and it's time consuming to get this corrected.

  14. I'd like to see a specific function which expands the current tags function that allows for ownership payments to be date specific on a monthly basis. For example a landlord requests that their rent be released to them on the 20th of the month to coincide with a mortgagee repayment. This function would be particularly helpful to ownerships with multiple properties rather than paying rents each time a tenant makes payment. The function should only allow for the release of funds on that date as a failsafe when paying other ownerships also.

  15. Show the Original Lease Start Date on the Receipting Screen so you can decide whether to enter the amount as a Holding Deposit and enter the date into Hold until for reporting and allocating funds

  17. Have a "Email On" Date or timeframe i.e. "14 days before" for recurring tenant invoices. At the moment the recurring invoice feature sends the invoice on the date it is created, but for rental invoices, our customers want to received them earlier to pay rent in advance.

  18. When cancelling a fee there are limited options and often we cancel fees in order to pay an owners outgoings then re-enter the fee afterwards. Can you add a new option 'delay'?

It would be good to be able to add a message on the actual statements instead of just in the email - not all owners receive emails and it means we are having to print an additional letter to communicate the message. i.e Christmas closure period, public holidays coming up, rates will be due in ........ etc.

  20. To reduce any Bank Rec issues because it hasn’t been done for a while, it might be good to get pop-up reminders, alerting Agents to take action.
    For PT users who are not required to do Bank Recs at all, it would be good to have a turn on/off option for such reminders (controlled by MRI on the Admin Portal, not accessible for users). Maybe get users to sign/agree on that.
