At times Owners have to deposit funds into the trust account for larger creditor invoices to be paid on time, it would be nice if the system could generate a receipt once payment is entered, rather than them emailing to check the funds have come through.

It should be a requirement to provide an owner with a receipt if they make a deposit to the trust account. This should occur automatically.
Everyone else gets an invoice emailed but not the ownership
