Task/workflow management
In Property Management there are core functions such as listings, applications, entries, reviews/renewals, vacates and maintenance that are the basis of managing a portfolio. Therefore, if we use these as a basis, it then comes back to how is this managed, what does a process look like and what is required within the core function. Essentially, this is being able to categorise a task, i.e., lease renewal and then work on this task with all necessary updates, correspondence and documentation contained within. The ‘Request’ below had the ability to further categorise (type and item), snooze to follow up, assign to a particular individual, merge relevant templates/documents and one of the most important capabilities was to attach various items, for example email correspondence, documents, images etc. Additionally, everything can be recorded from an audit perspective, being date, time, user and so on.

We would love to be able to add a workflow with template of set steps within a task in PT to replace other workflow checklists having to be used outside of Property Tree

It would be nice to be able to set up templates that you can then click in for tasks eg vacating renter check list ingoing renter checklist then beable to alert the next person in the process to complet there tasks

It would be great to have the ability that when creating a task that we can create and load templates with checklists. Instead of just having a task that is essentially a reminder to say complete a rent review, lease renewal, inspection etc.
To have a template that could be imported with a specific we could have a set template with a checklist so that it can be used to replace paper checklists and use as a workflow for each tasks. This will assist PMs with workflows and task management, and it will allow Management to have a better overview of blockages, challenges etc and reduce the need for paper or additional software. PropertyMe tasks has very good functionality where PropertyTree is very limited.
