Invoice Arrears by days column option
Currently you can search for tenancies in arrears and days.
For states outside Victoria who invoice tenants regularly (water etc.), we require a report function to advise arrears by days - that is not via Business Insights.13 votes -
Tenancy Ledger to display total amount paid by the tenant
The Tenancy Ledger should be displaying the ‘total amount paid’ by the tenant (as per the bank statement), and then show the breakdown how it has been allocated (e.g. to rent, outgoings, gardening etc.)
REST ledgers show this, which makes it easier to read the ledger and compare transactions to the bank statement and/or the actual paid amount.

Dashboard – automatically display search results without having to click ‘Search’
When accessing a report page from within a Dashboard, it should automatically show the search result (report/grid) based on the filter selection made on the Dashboard.
However, to get the actual search result (report/grid) on the report page, a user has to click ‘Search’ first.
This is an unnecessary step, as the filter selection has already been made, and by clicking ‘View’ on the Dashboard, the user is confirming what search result they want.2 votes -
Being able to search by 'suburb' in global search bar
Currently when you search in the global search bar, you can only search for the number address. When you type the suburb, properties do not show up.
The functionality for the Global Search bar to pick up all properties by the suburb you are searching for would be amazing.9 votes -

Show Property when searching for owners
Hi, Can I suggest that when you search for a landlord in the "Search Bar" at the top, can the details of the "Property" be shown. This would be helpful when identifying landlords with multiple properties. Presently, it shows the address of the landlord and an id number that means nothing to me when I am looking for a property address. Thank you

Tenant Download - Report Order for Credit Items requiring Manual Attention - multiple days
Not sure why this has changed from date order to $ amount order. I believe it is because they wanted the Report (printed - not CSV) to match the order of the Transaction Credit Receipts in Tenant Download. I can't see how that would benefit anyone? Surely no-one wants to change/check the date for each transaction, one at a time? Easiest to keep the date for each day's transactions, complete that day/date, then move to the next day.

Need a report for vacated tenants which shows if bond is finalised.
A report is needed which shows which bonds are still outstanding (to be finalised) for vacated tenants, like you can do in REST. The vacating report in PT does not give any bond information.

property sorting filters
The sorting of properties is currently numeric, based on street number except when searching under creditor invoices where it sorts alphabetically. I can't speak for other offices but our hard files are sorted alphabetically, why can't this option be available across all reports?

Key Number History
Currently have the issue of assigning key numbers just to find a key on the hook with the same number (obviously not correctly handed off when management was lost/sold OR someone has accidently removed it on PT). Would love to have a key number history/report to see what other properties had the same key number and when it was removed.

Rent Credit Type report
Currently you are able to create different rent 'credit types' eg deferral, abatement, rent free period etc however there is no report that surfaces the 'rent credit types' or reason for credits (the find transactions report displays credit type as 'Credit - Tenancy' only)
Can we add in a Report for Tenancy Credits which displays the fields Credit Type, Reason, Amount, etc or add this information to the existing 'Find Transactions' report?

Monthly bond report
To be able to generate a report of all bonds held by both PT and held by the bond authority. We need this to be able to easily cross reference with the Bond Authority report for audit purposes. This needs to be in PDF (for auditors) & excel (for reconciling) with totals at the end of the report. At the moment, we export to excel and add totals but this is not always sufficient for auditors to check the PT report against the bond authority report.
The monthly report that is in Rest is great and perhaps could be used…18 votes -

Income an Expense Report Specifics
It would be helpful if on expense reports it displayed all the transactions/invoices under each account for example
Repairs and Maintenance: $500
Invoice 281: Fixing Washing Machine - $300
Invoice 385: Tile Repairs - $200
This would help as it shows exactly what items are involved in a specific expense.
Also adding a search feature where you can search for an invoice by account rather then just creditor name/invoice number/property.5 votes
