Lost Managements/ Not for Relet to appear when using Invoice Genius
When processing an invoice in Invoice Genius, the system should clearly identify if a property has been marked as Lost Management or Not for Relet where this has already been set up in the property profile.
At present, Accounts have no visibility of this information in Invoice Genius. If these statuses are recorded against the profile, they should flow through and be visible during invoice processing. This is basic operational information that the Accounts team needs in order to do their job accurately and efficiently.
To be frank, there is nothing “genius” about Invoice Genius in its current state. Issues like this, along with user suggestions, have reportedly been raised since 2022, yet no meaningful improvements appear to have been made. The accounting function is a critical part of property management, and from our perspective there has been very little progress in improving this area of PropertyTree.
It is disappointing that the apparent solution is to use PropTech now that MRI owns it, particularly when this comes at an additional cost. Before upselling add-on products, PropertyTree should be able to support the basic day-to-day functions required to manage properties properly.
Can you please address this in PropertyTree so that essential property status information is visible in Invoice Genius and staff can complete basic tasks without unnecessary manual workarounds?
