  1. When we send an sms with reply active, it just shows up as a number, nothing about the company that sent it or that it is Reply Only. When you ring the number, it says this number is not available, call again later.............so some Tenants are saying they have tried to call me multiple times.

    1. Need an auto message on all sms' sent out with Company Name and Text Reply only available or similar. The other outgoing SMS had DO NOT REPLY message at the front of it so it must be possible!

    If you advise your tenants to save the number as a contact under your company name (as this is your company dedicated number) it will then show as this when they receive or send an SMS, this also ensures that they can validate the SMS they receive, as they will know if something is sent from another number as potential spam asking for rent etc.

  2. On the dashboard when you select filter to change the filters. The filter dropdown menu doesn't cancel when you press the x or Apply you need to reload the page to remove it.
    Please fix bug!

  3. Remove the MRI Message bubble from the bottom right of screen.
    Seriously why do we need this, the bottom right corner of screen now has 3 bubbles on it!!!!! a ? a message bubble for PT and now one for MRI... and they all overlap so it is hard to use any of them.
    Give me back my screen realestate, on smaller devices this is intrusive and totally unnecessary!!!!.

  4. I am EXCEEDINGLY FRUSTRATED this afternoon whilst performing Owner Payments, I get asked to use an AUTHENTICATOR Code, on entering the code I get told by this software that my session has expired and I need to log in again and use another authenticator code.
    I'm sorry but this RIDICULOUS STATE of AFFAIRS must be rectified. It's about time the software developers found ways to make a busy property manager's life a little easier than constantly getting in the way of workflows by expecting people to repeatedly keep logging in. This is taking security to the level of the ridiculous!!!!!!!

    Hi Sue, this will need to be looked at by support as issues with expected behaviour cannot be investigated via User Voice. The auto logout is controlled by the time you set (whether 1, 2 or 3 hours). Thanks, Product Team

  5. Why does a cancelled transaction (eg creditor payment) have to show on the Income & Expenditure statements...showing as a credit.

    Show the cancellation on the Owner and creditor ledger but why on the I&E?
    Yes the total figure is correct but Owners and Accountants get confused by this.

  6. Currently when exporting the statistics report from Business Insights to Excel, the data is flipped. Ie - data that was in columns in BI shows in rows in Excel.
    Is there a way to have the report show in Excel the same as it shows in Business Insights?

  7. Automatically Include the chat history inside the follow up email from Property Tree Support.
    Currently we copy and paste the conversation during the chat which automatically includes the oversized avatar. (2000px x 2000px)

  8. Allowing external parties who are not on your contact list to email your propertytree inbox. This allows for Councils etc to email your mailbox with rates notices. PropertyMe allows this and its hard to live without

    For this one - If the email is known and can be added against the creditor they will be accepted into Property Tree - you can have multiple "contacts" against one creditor if needed, so different email address can be saved.

  10. I have tried to contact support for days! Its pretty hard when you cannot login for days also! The security features are hopeless. I would really like some communication and support to fix our issues with logging in!

  11. Tenant original rent is displayed in the top right hand corner of the tenant ledger and does not change even when the tenant rent is different due to a rent increase. This is confusing to the tenant and not correct.

    The tenancy ledger should display the current rent on the top right corner (once the tenant has paid up to and past that new rent effective date). If this is not displaying correctly, please reach out to our support team to troubleshoot - if there is an issue they will be able to escalate this internally to our development team for assistance.

  12. As a NZ based user I note that the phone prefix for all my contact is Australian so therefore I can not text or call any of my contacts directly off the PT Contacts app which is very frustrating.
    It would be good to get the prefix updated to the NZ prefix for NZ based users so we can use the app as it is intended for.

  13. Hi,

    There should be an option for maintenance to be seen or not seen by tenants and owners within the portal. Correspondences between trades shouldn't always be accessed by both tenants and owners. For instance owners may have budget constraints that trades need to be notified of but tenants do not.

    The team recently opened the portal and has now realised all past correspondences with trades are available for both tenant and owner viewing with no way to turn it off or make it invisible as Melanie informed me today via support.

    This should be made much clearer to agencies…

  16. For comparisons it would be handy to have the ability to find historical statistic reports

    There is the option to see historical statistic reports by accounting period (for each month). Once the Trust is select there is the option to switch between date range or accounting period.

  18. I want to see emails that have gone to the spam folder we have received from tenants/landlords/trades. I have had a few people email say they have already emailed me but i haven't received them. I am assuming they have gone to spam that i can not check.

    All emails sent to your configured Property Tree inbound email will arrive into Property Tree, as long as the email addresses are saved against the contact within Property Tree. There is no outside spam settings that will hold an email from being received. We have come across cases where contacts are emailing propertytree@propertytree.com directly, rather than replying to an email that was received - however if this has happened, the contact would receive an automated response. This is the same if a contact emails your configured inbound email from a different email address that may not be known with your Property Tree database, they will receive an automated response.

    As email is used for password recovery/resets, the additional verification options are different to this - Okta Verify, Biometrics (face/fingerprint), Google Authenticator or SMS and you can configure all of these options and select which one to use when logging in (there is a dropdown box). If email was compromised, this would allow easy access to resetting passwords and obtaining a code. Keeping these authentications separate is important for data security.
