  1. Ability to have emails sent through property tree have our own email address. So if they do not hit reply and copy and paste the address that it will still send to the person sending it. If they reply to the address where it comes from being proeprtytree@propertytree.com.au - it does not send anywhere as it is an unknown address.

    Hi Stacey, thanks for your feedback - you can have domain branded emails setup for your database now (where emails sent from Property Tree will send using your domain rather than @propertytree.com), please refer to this knowledgebase article for more information on this https://propertytree.elevio.help/en/articles/93250. However, just to confirm the current process - when a contact hits reply to a propertytree@propertytree.com email they receive from you, it will have your reply address entered automatically, whether this is to external (outlook) or to the Property Tree Communications Platform (the email address you configure for this), it will never have the reply to email as the Property Tree email. If a contact emails propertytree@propertytree.com as a standalone email address (where reply has not been used), they will receive a bounce back advising to contact their agent directly as that address is not monitored.     You can add Contacts to your Creditor Profiles (the Creditor profile has the Company Name), these can be marked as contractors, or accounts contacts. The contractor contacts will be sent the maintenance communications, and the accounts contacts will be sent the statements when payments are made. On your Property Management Automated Communications, you can choose to address your maintenance communications (quotes/work orders) to the Contacts (with Title, First Name, Last Name).   4. If the compliance register included an ESC's (Electrical Safety Certificates) tab so the details and doc they can be readily accessed with current register options. All electrical compliance in one place for any property reporting/movement - new agency/new owners etc.

    Hi Karen, thanks for your feedback. You can configure your own Compliance Register categories under Configuration > Property Compliance Category. Once entered, the new category will display when entering your Compliance against the property. Thanks, Ange - Product team

  5. Add notes section in work orders for property managers / users to make NOTES in the progress of work orders and quote requests? Where they are up to - if they have spoken to creditor, waiting on further information, etc

  6. Automatic invoicing will help the user to set an invoice including the amount, the date when the invoice will be sent initially, and the end date of the invoice.

    This will help the user not miss charging the same invoice amount again and again in Property Tree.

  7. Having the ability to enter and save more then one email address for a landlord like their personal email and work email as most landlords communicate using both nowadays so it would be great if we could save multiple emails to respective landlord profiles in their contact information that along with mobile and work numbers.

    You can add multiple emails and contact numbers under the profile contact (image attached). Select the plus icon to add more - once these are added, you can select which is the preferred one for the contact when sending outgoing communications. If you are using the Communication Platform for inbound emails, it will recognise more than one email against the contact.

  8. Would be great if you can specify what days the inspections can be scheduled for. Our agency only does periodic inspections on Friday mornings. So would be great if you can specify days as well as the time.

    If you set your Inspection Schedule Configuration to weeks, once you enter the tenants first inspection as a Friday, then when it is completed, the next date will automatically set as a Friday is X weeks time (6 months = 26 weeks etc).

  9. Sometimes there is an important information about the tenant/landlord or the property itself that we need to remember before engaging any communications with the relevant parties, it would be helpful to have a "sticky notes" kind of function so that we can flag all the members when we open the profiles.

    For example: The landlord requires all statement or communication to be done via post (even when they have email addresses), it would be nice to remember that rather then going though notes as we don't normally looking into notes if we don't have to.

    When added a note, there is an option to pin it which makes it appear at the top of the profile pages (regardless whether you are in the owner, property or tenant you can see the pinned notes related to those profiles). You can also choose to pin notes for certain tasks - ie, receipting or invoicing so that it appears when that profile is selected.

  10. A lot of rent increases occur part way during the week. REST used to commence the increased rent at the beginning of the next week and automatically create an invoice for the old/new rent difference.
    This would save a lot of these part payments that are continually happening in P/T and they are very hard to explain to tenants.

    When adding a rent change, the rent anniversary of the Tenancy is highlighted in yellow to allow you to select the correct date you wish the rent to change (whether in line with their current rent anniversary or another date)

  12. The tenant to receive the invoice copy along with the owner.

    E.g at the moment you can enter a creditor invoice under the property and choose to invoice the tenant at the same time, BUT the invoice copy goes to the owner and not to the tenant.
    We have to enter owner water bills and then individually charge the tenants to attach the invoice. This would save so much time!!

    As long as the "Link Creditor Invoice" merge field is in the Tenancy Invoice email template, they will receive the uploaded Creditor Invoice. The Tenancy Invoice email Template is found under Automated Communications > Accounts.

There needs to be a report function where we can obtain a list of tenants contact details (email and phone) against particular properties that you can export and send to Strata Managers (or at least just export) as it is time consuming to get all this information together when doing multiple properties.

    This is located under the Compliance Tab on the properties. You are able to create your own Compliance categories under the Configuration menu > Property Compliance Categories to track exactly what you want - adding one specific for Landlord Insurance allows you to save documents against it, notes for policy number/info, expiry dates which can then be reported on within the compliance register.

  16. One of our landlords has suggested pest control be added to the compliance register to ensure this can be tracked should the landlord employ a company where future scheduling is not an option

    You can add new compliance categories to your Property Tree database under Configuration > Property Compliance Category. Once this is configured it will appear on your Properties when setting up a new Compliance record.

    There are a few different options you can configure for your Property Tree access - Okta Push, Google Authenticator and Biometrics (fingerprint/face recognition). The reason this is not done via email is due to email being the password reset option - if you experienced an email security breach and someone was able to reset your password, they'd be able to use your second authentication method also.

    There are two options/two mail merge fields for the rent arrears calculation - period or effective arrears, depending on what you wish to communicate. This is for letters, emails and automated communications (and soon to be SMS as we introduce SMS templates and SMS Mail Merge)

  19. Would like the ability to turn off the property tree emails so tenants/owners can't reply to communications.
    We would prefer to have all our email communication go through our in office email platform rather than propertytree.

    You can allocate held funds to a tenancy invoice prior to it being generated. Depending on how you are entering the invoice, there will either be a checkbox or toggle that will then open up a new field for you to enter how much you'd like to allocate. The invoice sent to the tenant will show the invoice amount, the amount allocated and balance remaining (whether $0 or still a balance to pay).
