  1. In REST there is a 'smart search' that is able to search everything to bring up possible property, owner, tenant matches.

    It would be brilliant if Strata Master had the same, the amount of agent levy payments that come through with no remittance advice or owner payments made from the owners partner (who will be in the system as a contact but not owner) it takes an extensive amount of time trying to locate the correct lot/s to allocate funds correctly.

  2. Provide a previous year comparison in the levy schedule. This would provide a quick reference to owners at a glance on how their particular circumstance will change.

  3. When a management is being closed and before the process is complete there is no way to stop sending out new levy notices when a full levy run is executed. On the Owners Corporation Financial tab there is an option to Reject Levy Receipts. It would seem logical to also block the creation of new levy notices.

  4. I would like to see the ability to edit the fee notice template - the Macquarie bank (newish) $2.75 Aust Post fee. It would be excellent to be able to highlight this fee. eg amount due $100 - then another box amount due if paying at Aust post $102.75. ( I have many clients who owe $2.75 on my debtors ledger - they are not clear on the need to pay $2.75 more that the invoice says, to cover the Aust Post fee) - example attched

  5. Including the current PAYG contribution on the Extract file. This is not currently held in the system but if it was it could also be included on the extract file which would then provide the complete information required to complete the BAS and process payments and refunds.

  6. Currently when receipting payments for levies, the software only applies the discount to the administration and sinking fund levies and does not apply the discount to the insurance levy. Urgently require this to be fixed so we do not have to create journal entries on each lot.

  7. To add another Insurance claim Status I.E. 'Excess Paid'? We’ve a few claims were we have paid the excess to the builder and then they are contracted by the insurers to do the work. SO none of the current choices really fit the situation. I’d like to add something along the lines of ‘Excess paid’ so that it’s clearer what is going on.

  9. Add Owner Statement formatted reports>owner reports>giving another option to choose previous owner. Benefits to produce the report where a change of owner has occurred and only shows transactions for the new owner.

  11. Can only search surnames. Would like it to search emails, phone number, first names and even offer suggestions if we typed the name wrong and also to be able to search for agents and residents too.

  12. The issue I have is that the diary screen provides a tracking number. When you open that doc, you then get three different numbers for the quote requests. The four requests have different numbers. When the contractor contacts me they quote the ref number on this screen but in order to find what they are talking about, I have to open all the documents on the previous screen and then look through. Very difficult. Would be easier if they all had one reference with perhaps a-1 2 3 for the various quote requests.

  14. Would like to see charging from the lots diary. (at the moment it only works in the plan's diary). There is an increasing need to charge for tenants or lots owners direct for work performed by the agency. for e.g. issuing compliant notices. Understand how to get around this in SM at the moment but would add to efficiency if charges can be done when create the item in the lots diary.

  16. When journals are processed to correct GST for an Revenue/Expense it creates the reversal in Income/Expense to offset. However, it would be a better option to create the reversal in the same Income/Expense on the GST Detail report to give the correct Sales/Purchases amount without the need for the BAS agent to adjust on the BAS summary.

  17. To clear a debit credit that has a zero balance is not possible currently, basically you have to pay the 0.01 to clear the debit credit

  19. In Filesmart on our side we can include a description, however when filing documents which clients have access to on through the portal, they cannot see any descriptions we have included. We need to have the descriptions we have included available for owners to see.
