  1. It would be helpful to be able to choose multiple expense account codes for one invoice when "Multiple Dissections" is selected. The application in Strata Master for entering multiple dissections is great but for our company, the strata managers fill out the info in workflow and the trust accountant inputs the invoices into Strata Master. Our opinion is that there are not enough options for inputting the multiple dissection information into File Smart.

  2. Agenda and Minutes of meetings shows page numbering on both bottom left and right hand side of the report. The one on lower right hand side should be removed as it looks like it's doubling

  3. Add a column to the budget screen to explain the reason for the line expense - at the moment we need to track this in a separate spreadsheet or similar. Often managers will make updates to the budget over the course of the year for the next FY but may not recall the reason for the budgeted expense when the AGM comes.

  4. Currently splitting one payment as multiple receipts does not have an option in SM to receipt via OC number only
    We get a large payment/deposit for say over 100 lots in one OC and we have to enter the OC number for every lot number entered for the bulk payment. Would save a lot of time if we just had to enter the lot number in situations where the receipt is only for one OC.

  5. Rather than doing one DR and one CR per entry, we should be able to do multiple of each in one journal entry (provided the totals of all DR and all CR are equal and the funds (Admin/Capital Works) are the same).

  6. Printing Tax Report for a partial period (terminated management)
    At present there is no ability to create a Tax Report for a partial year (eg. to date of management termination) because the tax year end date is in the future. If the date of termination is used, the report does NOT produce from 01/07 but rather produces 12 months ending in termination month.

  8. Since the new legislation and the review of by-laws there are potentially lots of buildings with more by-laws. It would be handy to have a link in SM which brings up the by-laws from fileSMART. It would also be useful to have better warnings with regards to by-laws when sending a work order.

  9. It would be great if we could choose between email addresses that can be used in SM. ie to send levies , an email addy that starts with levies @ . To send notices or correspondence an email that starts with info @ it allows admin dept to better manage the email boxes and separate account enquires from general enquiries .

  10. Meeting Template – Merge Fields – Add: Cash at bank (groups), Levies due Admin Budget (groups)
    Currently the merge fields only allow for the Main Group and we have to manually write in the figures for Multiple OC's/groups.

  11. A needed feature for strata master is the ability to bulk transfer FOR ACTION BY diary entries onto another user. For example, if an employee leaves, how do you ensure all of their diary entries are attended to and not forgotten about?

  14. In a recent upgrade, STRATA Master has allowed users to record the interest rate and expiry of term deposit accounts which is then shown on the bank account tab of the corporation screen (attached)

    It would also be helpful to record the current bank balances of each investment account (some properties have multiple) so that all the information is in one place rather than checking registers or producing a balance sheet as well as the corp screen

  17. Proxy/nominee register needs a column for substitute proxies. Proxy/nominee register does not permit us to have two entries for one lot. For example, a company can appoint a company nominee however if that nominee cannot attend a specific meeting, the company can appoint a proxy. Both entries are necessary and valid. Same goes if we have a power of attorney on file and we list the owner as an owner's representative. We then cannot add a proxy for that lot if the need arises. STRATA Master does not let you add two, an error message comes up stating "There is…

  20. When doing a search in Strata mobile, the additional addresses typed into the Structure tab are not searched. We have added all the possible street addresses into the structures tab, including the building name, which makes it much easier to search for a building, especially if you have to deal with tenants that know the name of the building but not necessarily the address as listed in the address field of the main window of Strata Master.
