Access OnEvac Reports Directly on Mobile Devices
Summary / Issue:
Currently, OnEvac reports can only be viewed via desktop for users with the Reports Manager role. During an evacuation, managers may not have access to a PC or desktop, making it difficult to quickly verify the safety status of employees, visitors, and contractors on-site. The existing mobile workaround (logging into OnLocation in desktop mode on a phone) is not practical or user-friendly in an emergency.
Actual Result:
Reports are only fully accessible on desktop. Mobile access is limited, and viewing detailed information requires a cumbersome desktop-mode login on a phone. Performance may be slow, and only the percentage “Verified Safe” overview is easily visible on mobile.
Suggested Improvement / Enhancement:
Enable OnEvac reports to be fully accessible in the OnLocation mobile app, ideally for OnEvac Managers or Reports Managers.
Include all views: Verified Safe, Event Details, Search Fields, People, Zones, Notices, and Logs.
Optimize for fast performance so data can be checked quickly during an emergency.
Ensure the UI is mobile-friendly and easy to navigate under urgent conditions.
Business Impact / Benefit:
Allowing mobile access ensures managers can confirm safety status and respond in real-time during evacuations, even if they cannot reach a desktop. This improves operational safety, situational awareness, and reduces potential risk to staff.
Notes / Considerations:
Could be limited to OnEvac Managers if access control is a concern.
Performance optimization may be required to prevent delays on mobile devices.
