Overview

Currently, each location can customise its welcome greeting, but the system default (used when clicking “Use Default” or “Reset to Default”) cannot be changed. It always reverts to the OnLocation-provided message.

We request the ability for organisations to define their own global default greeting that all locations can use.

Problem

Large multi-site organisations must manually update every location whenever the greeting changes.

“Reset to Default” restores the OnLocation system message, not the company’s preferred standard.

Creates inconsistency across sites and extra admin work.

Requested Feature

Add a setting allowing account administrators to:

✔ Set an organisation-wide default Welcome Greeting
✔ Have all locations inherit this default when selecting Use Default / Reset to Default
✔ Update this default centrally at any time

Benefits

Consistency: Ensures all locations use the same corporate, compliance, or safety messaging.

Efficiency: One update instead of manually editing dozens/hundreds of locations.
