  1. Once an evacuation is triggered with OnEvac, all API integration to OnEvac, so access control points can be configured, allowing employees and contractors to tap at the evacuation access point, and this automatically, through the API, sets them to "safe" in OnEvac.

    One of customer's locations is requesting the ability to use smaller badge pass label sizes when printing visitor badges using Brother QL series printers.

    Currently, OnLocation appears to support standard/predefined label formats only, but the Brother QL series printers also support continuous label rolls, which allow custom label dimensions (within supported printer constraints).

    With Brother QL printers, it is possible to print custom-sized labels using continuous rolls (e.g. 62mm width rolls), where the label length can be dynamically adjusted through the printer driver or P-touch Editor software.   4. OnEvac could really use more languages or options for sending out SMS to users in their own language. When doing an evac it is important that the users understand the SMS they get, and if they don't read english they will not evacuate.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    We will investigate how we can better support multiple languages during an evacuation. I believe a limitation we have encountered to date has been with recognizing the 'SAFE' response to messages at the SMS provider level. I'll open this up for votes form the community.

  5. The ability for those with Contractor Manager "Manager" User Role to be able to run Insurance reports - currently only a Contractor Manager "Administrator" role is able to run insurance reports

    This feature would benefit our Contractor Managers greatly, as they would be able to run insurance reports for their respective sites without giving them access to a lot of Contractor Settings.

  6. Hello Team,

    We are an educational institution and during term break we don't have our teaching staff onsite unless they are coming for something specific. Is there a way that Automatic sign in and out options can be paused for sometime rather than deleting them. Depending on the staff profile, we have conditions applied to the automatic sign and out and it would be good if we can put a pause to them.

The higher use of the SMS feature is for sending inductions links to contractors, most of the peoples uses social networks instead of email, as the most of them would not review their email, our customers uses SMS to share the inductions links; WhatsApp would be an excellent option to receive inductions links.

    Thanks for your suggestion. We are planning on rolling out reporting features in OnLocation Mobile over the coming year. We will review this and leave it open for votes form the community.

  9. We have employees who dont have a work email address and want them to be able to complete elearning induction. Being able to select an alternate email would be really useful in much the same way as members.

  10. Description:
    Large organisations often have employees with the same first name or full name, as well as many global roaming employees. Currently, visitors can select hosts who are not physically working at the site they are visiting, which can lead to incorrect host selection and access issues.

    Although adding job titles or other profile details can help differentiate employees, there are rare scenarios where two employees may share the same name and job title at the same location. In these cases, visitors may still accidentally select the wrong host.

  11. On several occasions, we have visitors/contractors who came onsite but didn't sign-in or forgot to do so, for whatever reason and was let in by staff.
    It wasn't good. It will be great if the onLocation system allow us to retroactively sign these people in after they have already here or have left site, if we know their details. This will allow us to at least have records of their present for future reference. Thanks.

  12. In Triggers, we use this to send text messages to people who are still signed in. At one site, we have multiple zones, one of which is a Hostel that people stay at over night. It would be good to have more configuration options for the Triggers so that we can configure it to only send text messages to those outside of this zone.

    Thanks for your feedback, I take it you are currently using the 'Time - triggered at a specific time' trigger?

    That does not currently support zone based trigger rules, and we will consider implementing this.

    In the mean-time as a workaround you could use the Visitor/Employee/Contractor overdue trigger set to fire at a time elapsed after sign in e.g 12 hours. The overdue trigger does currently support specifying a zone in the trigger rules.

  14. Description / Problem Statement:
    Customers managing a large number of sites often configure multiple triggers per location. At present, there is no way to generate, export, or print a consolidated list of triggers for each site. This makes it difficult for administrators to audit configurations, perform internal reviews, support compliance requirements, or share trigger setups with internal stakeholders who do not have direct access to the OnLocation platform.

  16. Overview

    Currently, each location can customise its welcome greeting, but the system default (used when clicking “Use Default” or “Reset to Default”) cannot be changed. It always reverts to the OnLocation-provided message.

    We request the ability for organisations to define their own global default greeting that all locations can use.

    Problem

    Large multi-site organisations must manually update every location whenever the greeting changes.

    “Reset to Default” restores the OnLocation system message, not the company’s preferred standard.

    Creates inconsistency across sites and extra admin work.

  17. Customers are requesting more control over the induction experience. Two enhancements are proposed:

    1. Making the “Getting Started” tutorial video optional (Induction Kiosk only).

    2. Allowing the completion message to be editable for all induction courses, regardless of whether they are completed on the Kiosk or online.

    Current Behaviour
    A. Induction Kiosk Only
    Before an induction begins, users must go through three mandatory steps:

    a.1. Check your Profile
    b.2. Check your Organization
    c.3. Getting Started Video – “Learn how it works”

    Thanks for your suggestion. We will open this up to votes and are planning a block of work on pre-authorizing contractors later this year.

    In the mean-time, did you know you can create a custom questionnaire that allows contractors to upload certification details when they sign in at a kiosk?   19. Currently, OnSite kiosks using Brother label printers on Microsoft Edge require manual confirmation for every print job. This slows down visitor and contractor processing, particularly in high-traffic environments, and creates inefficiencies for staff managing inductions or check-ins.

    Introducing a “Silent Printing” feature for Edge, allowing print jobs to be automatically processed without manual intervention. This feature could be configurable per kiosk or globally for a location.

    Benefits:

    Operational Efficiency: Streamlines check-ins and inductions, reducing time per visitor.

    Cost Savings: Less staff time spent monitoring or confirming print jobs if client prefers Edge.

  20. Customers would like the ability to report on the most recent onsite activity at the organization level, not just by individual contractor records.

    Current Limitation:
    The People Presence Report can show the last sign-ins per individual, but there is no automated or direct way to determine the last activity date for a contractor organization as a whole.

    Why This Matters (Customer Value):
    Many organizations manage contractor relationships at the company level rather than individual worker level. The ability to track an organization’s most recent onsite activity would support:

    Contractor compliance monitoring (e.g., “Which approved vendors are still active?”)
