  1. As a rent increase notice in Victoria is required at least 90 days in advance, we need to liaise with both parties to confirm their intentions regarding the lease renewal.

    You can have triggers for all automated communications up to 999 days. The UI does not show this clearly, and we'll work on improving this, however, this means you can add the 120 day trigger to the owner lease expiry now.

  2. A landlord or tenant can only REPLY to an email that is initiated out of Property Tree. If the landlord or tenant wants to start a new email conversation, they have to use our Outlook email and then we have to save the communication thread into Property Tree under Documents.

    What is the point of having Communications turned on if a landlord or tenant cannot email you into Property Tree directly to start a new conversation thread. A landlord or tenant should not be forced to sign up to the portal to send a message.

    Any of your contacts can email you using your dedicated Property Tree email address - this is how it knows to come into Property Tree and will link directly to the relevant profile. We currently have other tasks in progress regarding Portals and bringing emails into Property Tree from Outlook. However, to email directly into Property Tree, it's that dedicated email address that your contacts need to use.

    You can see the opened date/time of emails within the communication history (managements > communication history). There is a column called Status Details - if you do not see this, you can select it using the three dots option to the right side of your search results. We will be surfacing this information in the communication platform in the future. For SMS, we can only get a delivery status from the service providers, which means the SMS was delivered to the recipient - there is no ability to receive a status when the SMS is opened.

  5. Allow attachments to email in communication platform. We can receive attachments so why can't we send attachments?

  6. It would be super convenient to be able to send an email to tenant from the 3 dots in the tenancy card and landlords from the ownership card. A "send email" would be ideal.

    Currently the option is available to send a Portal message which we don't use.

    In the tenancy/owner card, if there is a valid email entered against the primary contact you will see an email icon (at the bottom of the card, where the name/phone number appear) and if you select this it will open the email screen for you to select more contacts/change the contact etc.

  7. Ability to have emails sent through property tree have our own email address. So if they do not hit reply and copy and paste the address that it will still send to the person sending it. If they reply to the address where it comes from being proeprtytree@propertytree.com.au - it does not send anywhere as it is an unknown address.

    Hi Stacey, thanks for your feedback - you can have domain branded emails setup for your database now (where emails sent from Property Tree will send using your domain rather than @propertytree.com), please refer to this knowledgebase article for more information on this https://propertytree.elevio.help/en/articles/93250. However, just to confirm the current process - when a contact hits reply to a propertytree@propertytree.com email they receive from you, it will have your reply address entered automatically, whether this is to external (outlook) or to the Property Tree Communications Platform (the email address you configure for this), it will never have the reply to email as the Property Tree email. If a contact emails propertytree@propertytree.com as a standalone email address (where reply has not been used), they will receive a bounce back advising to contact their agent directly as that address is not monitored.   8. Would like the ability to turn off the property tree emails so tenants/owners can't reply to communications.
    We would prefer to have all our email communication go through our in office email platform rather than propertytree.

  10. Mail merge to combine mulitple owners and renters into one email rathe then sending individual email to each. Esp when editing the email.

    There is an option within the Owner and Tenant profile to Mail Merge Multiple (by the contacts list in the profile, under the blue Actions drop down), this steps you through selecting a template, you can edit the template at that time, and then go through the steps to send this to all of the contacts in that profile.

  12. Hello Team

    I use PT from my smartphone.

    when i need to call a contact, i have to go into the contact and copy the number and paste to make a call.

    Is there a way that we can make a call straight from the contact instead of copying and pasting. (same as if i was calling someone from google)

    Can you guys look into that.

  13. When receiving replies for statement/receipts into the comms platform, it changes thread to ad-hoc communication. Which does not make sense.

  14. To have the ability to filter All inbox messages by User. When someone is away, it is easy to see just their messages. And from a managment perspective, it would make it much easier to see where each of the team is at with their messages. Currently we can only see "All", "Assigned to me" or "Company".

    You can filter by assignee in the communication platform - under All Inboxes, use the filter icon to see the Assignee filter. This does not appear under Assigned to Me or Company as those inboxes are already assigned.

    Emails that are sent and received save against the profile they are linked to (in the communication platform, within the email, it will show the profile it is linked to). If it's a conversation trail, then in the communication tab against the profile you can click on the saved communication and it will bring up the list of back and forth emails

  16. Hi, can you advise please of how on an iphone when i click the tenants details can I call directly as able to via REST mobile? I had to get a pen, write it down then call the tenant as can't copy/paste to call? thanks in advance

  17. Owners details (NAME) are not appearing on work orders via link.
    Tax invoices should be addressed to the owner care of the estate agents address.
    There is no mention of the owners detail at all on the work order link.

    Currently you can add the instructions for the creditor to invoice the owners name on the work order auto communications template (add your instructions and use the merge field for ownership name).
