3 ways of authentication
Hello
Yesterday my google authenticator 'froze'. I was unable to sign into PT.
I would like to suggest alternatives if one doesn't work.
If the authenticator doesn't work, alternatives can be offered - sms and email notifications for example.
Other apps use this method and it was very helpful yesterday.

Gayle Curtis - Schmith Realty1 voteWe recommend setting up all types of authentication options available. You can do this by selecting your Profile (Initials icon top right corner of PT), and then Security & Recovery. This will take you through to Okta, and you can enable the other authentication options that are available.

routine inspections
I would like to be able to add the actual inspector of the property as a merge field on the auto communications. Currently our communications come from the Senior PM, but the PM (another person) is completing the inspection. If times need to be changed the correspondence should be able to be navigated to the inspector of the premises rather than the Senior PM.
1 voteThe point of contact for inspections is dictated by what is set up under User Management > Business Roles. A user need to then be added to the Business Role against each Property. If there is no user set against the business role, the inspection auto comms will be sent from the Property Manager point of contact.

Leasing Agent
It would be great if the leasing agent is able to see the dashboard of the whole portfolio. Our leasing agent needs to see vacate lists etc and this would minimise a lot of time. The only way for us to currently do that is having a business role as a property manager however this then puts the leasing agent against all the properties in bricks and agent which caused a lot of issues
1 voteOn the dashboard - to see the whole portfolio (and not just one persons portfolio) you can have the portfolio filter blank, just remove the name from the portfolio and this will no longer filter by that person

gst added as default to electricity invoices
Electricity invoices to default to add GST. Currently default setting is no gst.
When entering invoices and code to electricity it is defaulting to no gst.
Never known an electricity invoice to not have GST.1 voteYou can select what accounts attract GST (or not) under Configuration > Accounts. There is a checkbox regarding GST when editing (or adding) and account. When the account type is attached to the creditor, it will auto populate that GST field based on this setting.

Producing a report with Tenancy names and abn details.
We should be able to produce reports based on the fields that we enter information.
1 voteYou can create custom reports in Business Insights. The free version has two tiles for Contacts & Profiles, and Creditors. Under contacts & profiles there is a world of fields to create reports, including the Tenancy Name, BSB and Account Number. Reports can be saved as templates so they can be easily generated at any time. user banner to be automatically selected rather than having to select each time.
It would be great, when sending emails, that the user banner is automatically selected, and you can change to Company if you wish, rather than having to select banner each time.
2 votesOnce you select a particular banner (ie, User), then each time you send or reply to an email within Property Tree, the same banner should already be selected (unless it has been changed by you). If this is not working as it should, can you please reach out to our support team. For communications such a Automated Emails, these send out of Property Tree with a selected banner in place, so if replying to an email related to an automated email (ie, arrears, or owner statement), it will have the selected banner in place based on the template used. Most Automated Emails are set to send from the point of contact or company.

Have the option of verification access codes either sms or emailed. have sms only is causing an issue when I don't have my work phone with me.
1 voteThere are a few different options you can configure for your Property Tree access - Okta Push, Google Authenticator and Biometrics (fingerprint/face recognition). The reason this is not done via email is due to email being the password reset option - if you experienced an email security breach and someone was able to reset your password, they'd be able to use your second authentication method also.

Export portfolio managers owners contacts
Could we please have an option to export owners contact details into a CSV file for a property managers portfolio, rather than the only option of exporting the full rent roll?
1 voteYou can setup custom reports under Business Insights using the Contacts & Profiles tab. Here you can save a report (ie, Owner contacts) and then export it as often as you like.
