Make Task Consultant Available in GRAB Reporting
Summary
As a Box+Dice user, I want the Task Consultant (Task Assignee) field to be available within GRAB reporting so that I can generate accurate reports showing who each task has been assigned to.
Problem
The current Task Reports available from the Task Manager can only be generated per consultant within the Task Manager itself.
Although every task stores an assigned Task Consultant, this field is not exposed to the GRAB reporting engine. Instead, GRAB only has access to the following task fields:
Subject
Due Date
Type
Category
Property Address
Contacts
Notes
Because the Task Consultant field is unavailable, users cannot report on the person actually responsible for completing a task.
The closest available field is Listing Consultant, which produces inaccurate and misleading reports whenever tasks are assigned to consultants other than the listing consultant.
Business Impact
This limitation prevents agencies from:
Reporting on workload by consultant.
Measuring task completion and performance by assignee.
Producing management reports showing who owns outstanding tasks.
Auditing task allocation across teams.
Exporting accurate task assignment information for operational reporting.
Managers are currently unable to obtain an accurate view of consultant workloads using GRAB.
Proposed Solution
Expose the Task Consultant (Task Assignee) field to the GRAB reporting engine so it can be:
Selected as a report column.
Used as a filter.
Used for grouping.
Used for sorting.
This field should reflect the consultant assigned to the task, not the listing consultant.
Expected Outcome
Users can build reports that accurately display the consultant assigned to each task, providing reliable workload and performance reporting across the agency.
