We are hoping to have a new ACL created for Timeline Entry – Edit (own office)
Largely the new ACL is to assist in the case of human error.
Some staff are either entering wrong information or including typos and bad grammar when adding notes to the buyer register via their iPad.
Our goal is to have members of the same sales team, or select members of the office, be able to edit these incorrect notes before they are sent to the vendor in a report.
The currently available ACL would allow the staff to edit all notes, which is not something we’re wanting to allow across an open database.
Due to this, Edit (own office) would solve the problem.
This feature has been released in version 8.3. Staff can now be restricted to edit or delete contact timeline events within their own office, or authorised group of offices.
