Flagging Duplicate Invoices
When loading invoices the system does to flag if that invoice number has already been entered/paid. It would be great if REST/FileSmart could flag if that invoice number has already been entered to prevent duplicate payments.
3 votesREST will check the past 3 months of transactions and current outstanding invoices and flag the invoice as a potential duplicate if the invoice number, property, creditor and amount match

Water invoicing
When entering a water bill for the landlord after entering the system asks "Do you want to invoice the tenant". When you click Yes a standard tenant invoice comes up. Why does this not direct you to a water invoice?

Print & Email for the Send Statement By option
When an Owner has more than one address etc, can there be an option that we can tick (in the Owner Card against the relevant contact/s), where you can suggest DO NOT PRINT (yet you can email) the statement/s for certain email addresses? We have some commercial owners that have 2 email addresses (husband and wife) and then emails for their accountants etc that get the statement emailed each month also. For these owners, we get 3 statements emailed AND printed. We just require the ONE statement printed to the Owner only. I understand we can go into SYSTEM OPTIONS…
3 votesThank you for those who voted on this topic, and thank you Matthew for your response. If you are using v14.5 or above, you can indeed choose to send the owner statement to multiple owner contacts in an ownership, while choosing to limit the printing to only one statement. From the Owner Details screen, click the ‘Add new Contact’ button on the General tab and set the ‘Send Statement by’ method as preferred for each contact.

Export Bond Report to Excel
Export tenant bond report to excel (with all fields in separate columns) to allow for easier bond reconciliations.
1 voteThe ability to export Bond details was added in v14. This feature can be accessed by selecting Other > Export Data and change the Export to setting to Existing Templates. Select the template named Residential Bonds. You can view the fields that will be included in the export file by clicking on the magnifying glass icon on the top right of the screen.

Ability to search tenant code numbers in the tenant search
Would like to be able to search by bank code number in the main search instead of just in tenant card.

We’re pleased to advise that the ability to search for tenant bank codes currently exists in Rest Professional on the Rent Receipt screen by using the Code Search – F5 button.

Lease Review Date should be in Reports
the Rent Review Date in the Tenant Lease Dates Report for residential tenants be picked up in the reports. Currently this field only applies for Commercial Tenants and is picking up the Lease Review field in the Commercial tab on the tenant card.
1 voteThe Tenant Rent Review report includes the Rent Review Date as well as the Next Increase Date (Change Date) as entered on the Renegotiation tab of the Tenant Details screen for Residential Tenants.
