Print & Email for the Send Statement By option
When an Owner has more than one address etc, can there be an option that we can tick (in the Owner Card against the relevant contact/s), where you can suggest DO NOT PRINT (yet you can email) the statement/s for certain email addresses? We have some commercial owners that have 2 email addresses (husband and wife) and then emails for their accountants etc that get the statement emailed each month also. For these owners, we get 3 statements emailed AND printed. We just require the ONE statement printed to the Owner only. I understand we can go into SYSTEM OPTIONS up the top menu of REST, however some we require some Owners to have all statements emailed AND printed, and some Owners to be only emailed (yet the statements get printed out). This is the same for commercial and residential.

If you are using v14.5 or above, you can indeed choose to send the owner statement to multiple owner contacts in an ownership, while choosing to limit the printing to only one statement. From the Owner Details screen, click the ‘Add new Contact’ button on the General tab and set the ‘Send Statement by’ method as preferred for each contact.

I run version 17.5.03 and I have had that section marked as "Email" for years and a statement prints out for each "contact" still. Some Owner cards have about 4 contacts (accountants etc) and paper statements print out for EVERY one, even though I have marked them as EMAIL STATEMENT.

I have just voted for this as was about to put it as a feedback topic. You should be able to have as many contacts as you wish be emailed the statement but only one statement printed out. I have confirmed with REST that there is no way to have a statement emailed but not printed. The option is either ALL statements printed (for all contacts/properties) or none printed. It is SUCH a waste of paper as only one statement gets kept and the others that are printed out are chucked straight in the bin.

In the owner card just add more contacts and choose whether you want them to receive by email or post. So if you want 2 owners to get emails, 1 owner to get post and 1 accountant, you would have the primary owner to get the statement by post, then add additional owners with the send by email ticked.
