Make accurate notes easier
As a salesperson who likes to use the type of note to filter last contact I would like the system to make it easier for me to select the correct note type - phone, other, etc by putting this on the critical path to making a note on the Contact screen in the CRM. At the moment the note type selection is an afterthought and often forgotten which undermines the effectiveness of the filters based on kind of contact.
A suggestion is to have a series of buttons for the various types (rather than the text box being visible). On pressing a button, the text box displays with the correct note type selected and the focus on the text field.
Problem solved with no additional clicks or keystrokes.
