When a creditor code is changed, this update is not repeated in the fileSMART database after a user prompt or done automatically. This can result in documents that were filed under the old code to not appear in a search unless the user knows to specifically look for them under the old details.

Would it be possible to enter the name of a creditor in the search and have the system find all the documents, perhaps if done by the unique record id for the creditor?

This would help users find any and all documents for those creditors even if the name or code was changed on the original record.
