free text naming of docs loaded to portal
When making documents available on the portal, there should be a free text field enabling the naming of documents without having to load a portal description

The Notes section is already available where we write in the description if this could be placed as a new column next to the description field that would be great.

This would allow a lot more freedom in ways, and allows clients to more accurately identify specific documents. Although I'd prefer this as an option, as it seems like it could cause problems when it comes to auto-archiving from Strata Master. Maybe a blank space at the bottom when selecting a Portal Description, during archiving, ect., that would then auto integrate into the currently available portal descriptions.
