Subject: IFRS 16 – Current and Non-current Split of Interest and Lease Liability.
IFRS 16 – Current and Non-current Split of Interest and Lease Liability.I am currently working on implementing IFRS 16 postings for my entity, Demant BS (OPTBSPL), in the ERP system. During the analysis, I identified a requirement to separately allocate: 1) Interest between the current and non-current portions of lease liabilities, 2) Lease payments (cash flow) and lease liability amounts between the current and non-current portions of lease liabilities. This split is required to ensure that the ending balances of current and non-current lease liabilities are reported correctly. When reviewing the report available under "Lease Compliance – Manage Lease Assumptions", I can only identify a single "Interest Expense" column. I have not been able to locate any breakdown of interest between the short-term (current) and long-term (non-current) portions of the lease liability. I have encountered the same issue with the "Cashflow" and "Lease Amount" columns, as they do not appear to be split between the current and non-current portions of the lease liability. Please, add new columns to report.

This is important because the Group requires IFRS 16 postings to be recorded in our local ERP system. Therefore, LeaseEagle should provide sufficient data to enable IFRS 16 postings in line with the Group's accounting and reporting requirements, including the correct split between current and non-current lease liabilities
